Magic School

I think if you go in knowing (and are okay with) that this is not an escape room but rather a big interactive puzzle box to solve, this is decently fun time. The puzzles are on the trickier side of things which is appreciated and the tech all worked (There was only one traditional lock). As with a few of the enigma rooms, you are kind of just following clues/instructions from a booklet which really does take away from the magic aspect of the theming (and also a lot of the discovery aspect that we enjoy about escape rooms). So keep that in mind.

THIS IS NOT AN ESCAPEROOM! I need this to be clear to anyone reading this. You aren't trying to solve clues to get out of the room or even reach an objective. You are trying to break into a huge puzzle box.... They actually had you a book of clues when you want into the room becuase you are going to need them. I rolled in thinking this was an escape room and boom it's a small box in a tiny hot room. I have to admit this was the WORST event I've ever done. I got so bored that I gave up and invited the host into the room to show me how do solve this stupid box. I wanted to wipe out all their rooms since I'm not often in Canada (this was my first time in 40 years) and you know what, after that room, I decided not to do anymore.

Not the best escape room in my opinion. Puzzles were confusing. The boardgame aspect wasnt that satisfying to be honest
