Solid room. Puzzle difficulty seemed pretty hard but I did like the theming and props. Had a crawl space but only one person has to do it.

John Hayden has been collecting trophies of his victims over the years, you have 60 minutes to find the trophy he has been searching for and survive the room.

Part of the top three Hayden rooms for me! Grand Parlor and Cookhouse are the other two I’ve enjoyed; each has its own charm.

This is a good room and a bit on the easier side for more experienced players. The weakest I’ve played at 13th Hour - but for this to be the lowest, the others are killer (pun intended). Worthwhile once you’ve done the others.
A pretty interesting set of puzzles - zero locks within and all interactions. A fun sense of humor and some really unique stuff with pretty strong logic. However, two issues in my mind personally - a LOT of things are thrown at you at once with most of it not being usable, causing the game to be a game of “can I actually use this right now?” with some REALLY unfortunate misfits (first room) and a lot of places where an answer COULD go into a lot of places and you just have to kinda figure it out.
Gonna be honest - we played Great Room before this one and I thought Great Room for the “Trophy Room” aesthetic more. It was grungy and rough, but the rooms didn’t fully make sense. “The Garage” or “The Back House” could work better. Still good theming all around however, with some really cool tech. Just a bit mismatched
This is a major standout always. 13th Hour’s staff is INCREDIBLE, always. Didn’t play with an actor in room but still - even their staff in training are perfect fits.

The ending was really fun and personalized - as all of their games are, and that’s always fun - but the story as to why you actually did things were questionable at points. Nothing really noteworthy but it’s always fun.

The main difficulty comes from “Hey, CAN we do this right now?” vs strong puzzle difficulty. Everything is still reasonable tho. Lots to do like all of their games

Zero actual locks (technically one latch but not really) and a bunch of interesting tech interactions. Like Gen 2 terms of tech.

There is a LOT to do here. You need people more to just get everything done.
Spooky
Some light drop paneling / general vibes, but it’s campy.

Could be a good first horror room for kids.

One keypad is VERY worn down. Like… should’ve been replaced 6 months ago. Was the only puzzle I’ve ever needed owner help with.

Not the time of season for it. Heard really good things about it however.

No crazy running / climbing / etc. Outside of one person needing to crawl at one point / a 2-step staircase to a small side room for 2 puzzles, everything is on the same level.

Bunch of parking w/ a warehouse. Clear signs for which room.

Parking lot outside warehouses.

I'm glad we did ours later in the night so that we didn't have a lot of other people around. If there were more people would have been annoyed since it's in a warehouse where you hear everything.

Cool set and the game has a little bit of everything.

Really awesome room by 13th hour, probably my 2nd favorite room of theirs. Perfect for a group of four

The room immersion was great. Above and beyond the typical expectations for a New Jersey escape room. The room didn’t flow perfectly but it was pretty good. Our game master spammed us with hints which we didn’t love, but we also weren’t clear that we liked figuring stuff out.

I don't feel the need to rehash what everyone else has said in other reviews. However, I want to just give a piece of advice: Go in October. The Haunted House is in full swing so there are live actors. We were ushered into the room by someone in character. Throughout the entire room, we had live actors who were "members of the family" walking in and out of our room, acting as a live GM. They would give us hints when needed and completely immersed us in the story and atmosphere. This made the experience so much better!
The live actors were in character which was so much fun. So the staff wasn't "welcoming" persay!

Good room, very slightly easier than the others we did on our visit, but not by much. Room is a little slower to start but picks up. A couple of great puzzles, a few unique ones we haven't seen before. Couple hints required as theres a few components that are a bit more hidden than might need to be. Very busy room otherwise, with lots to do.
