Close call! This was a great, low-tech room. The puzzles in this room are numerous and time-consuming, but somewhat forgettable. The decorations were great, but could have really done with a couple of special effects that let you know you're on the right track. The pacing of the room was a little bit unusual.
Gameplay
The puzzles on this room were a little bit forgettable. They also didn't have a 'flow' per se. With only a couple exceptions, the room throws everything at you at once and doesn't have a satisfying sense of progression.
This is a great atmospheric room. It is much darker than most rooms dare to be, and the timer being attached to your flashlights makes your lights an indispensable partner through the very vibey room. The tasteful sounds and effects feel right at home in the environment. There was maybe a lack of reactionary effects that let you know you've solved a puzzle or made a big step.
We love the GM's at Conundrums.
This is a room that tests your time management. The puzzles take a long time to work through, and the lack of a sense of progression constantly builds the stress that you aren't making it through the room quickly enough. The darkness in the room largely contributes to the difficulty in all the right ways.
