The Depths

Honestly, I really liked this game I just didn’t like it quite as much as the other offerings at this location. My favorite games at The Escape Game are probably Special Ops and Gold Rush just because I found them to be the most exciting. The Depths was the most well designed submarine themed escape room that I’ve done thus far though so I would still recommend the game!

This room gets a love because we were brave enough to attempt it with our 2 & 6 year old and it was actually fun!! That told me what I needed to know about the flow. Our kids needed something to do CONSTANTLY, so there was very little time of just standing around- it felt like there was always some way to stay busy. It had unique puzzles, and mechanisms we hadn’t seen before (map puzzle for those who have already done this room). The staff was also amazing and let us “escape” despite being a few minutes over to help our 6 year old get the satisfaction of finishing it. We’ve been impressed by this chain and definitely think it stands out when compared with other chains. I would definitely say this room is kid friendly and a great starter room. The set was well done in rooms 1& 3, I found room 2 slightly lacking, but it made sense with the story/theme! And the transitions/ending sequence were super fun for us, but also the kids. Our 6 year old is now hooked (like us) as this was her first room. Great experience all around.

I have done a lot of submarine themed games and the environment is always cool but I find the puzzles to be a let down…but not this room. The puzzles were unique and just the right amount of challenging.

Here it is: My 300th review & (planned) this was the 300th room that my wife and I have done together! ♥️ The Depths is another solid game from The Escape Game! We've started seeing more submarine themes in the last few years & this one was great. The sub was nicely designed as well. Much appreciation for the fact that the "room after the sub" was as good (if not better) than the sub itself. Too many rooms do the opposite (or worse, no room outside of the sub). There's some nice twists to the story & a few unique puzzles as well. Definitely worth doing this game.

A fun under the sea theme for this room. The tech was excellent for interaction! A good variety of puzzles to keep the whole group occupied. A note that even though this room is rated for 8 people, it gets extremely crowded with that many! Also they will book up all the spaces in these non private rooms!

I loved this room. Bc we only had two people there was a part of the room we couldn’t do but it didn’t affect our experience. I loved the theme of this, the technology, the overall experience of this room is just captivating. Highly recommend the escape game

This room is a lot of fun, especially for those looking for a more mission based adventure. The set design and atmosphere was very well done which is not very surprising from the escape game as (to me) this is their strength. Lots of fun twist and turns and a unique finale.

Great game! Very immersive! Not my favorite from this company though!

This is the third room I’ve played at TEG and they’re all great rooms. This is a new location and they have done a great job with everything! Can’t wait to play the other rooms and their new one coming out!
