Inspired by the original Jumanji film from 1995, Bust Out brings you the most popular escape room experience in Albuquerque, NM. This game takes place in the abandoned Perrish home. You see, the son, Alan Perrish mysteriously disappeared and was never seen again. Now, you have just purchased the Perrish estate and you're entering the home for the first time. Overall a solid room with something for everyone. Not too difficult and Puzzles were pretty straightforward for the most part but fun nonetheless and lots to do for a team of four. Set design was good but felt a bit sparse in some areas.

One of the best Iβve done! Very immersive! The atmosphere was perfect and varied to align with different parts of the story. If youβve ever wanted to actually play Jumanji, this is the closest youβll get!

It's hard for me to review this objectively, because partway through I realized I had played the game before, but at a different company (at XCapade in Hayward, CA) - this is the first time in 100+ games that's happened to me! The game is based off a kit, but I hadn't realized it at first because Bust Out spent a bunch of effort to customize the game. Compared to my previous experience, this version was much much better - better set, better effects, attentive GM. The tech was slightly wonky, but nothing major broke.

It's Jumanji. If you've seen the movie, you know what you're in for.

Such a fun time! A ton to do! Audio, visual and all of the tech worked! Superior customer service. Bust out is a diamond in the rough in New Mexico! This is a must do game without a doubt!

This was a very fun room that is only let down (for me as an enthusiast) by the fact that the puzzles are incredibly easy. But for new players this would be a really great introduction to escape rooms. We enjoyed the set and the special effects and had a lot of fun. Recommended; just understand that you do not need to rush and can take the time to appreciate your surroundings.
Nice set design, very true to the original (Robin Williams) film.

Follows the plot faithfully, which given the theme of the room, is not a bad thing.
Easy
If there was a difficulty level below βeasyβ I would choose that. This would be a great game for beginners.

It was perfectly fine with 4 but there really isnβt enough to do for more than 2.

Would be good for kids, especially if they have seen the movie.

One person has to do a brief crawl but then they can open a door for everyone else.
A main area of the game is only able to be reached by going up a fairly narrow staircase. Definitely would not work for a wheelchair.

While not an officially licensed Jumanji game, Bust Out Escape Roomβs Jumanji game is very true to the film, even referencing the character names and bringing various visual elements of the film into the room. This is a high spectacle room filled with magical technology, a whimsical custom soundtrack, and beautiful scenery to immerse you into the world of the game. We really enjoyed playing it even if itβs on the easier side.
The ownerβs son is such a nice guy who puts so much love and care into the games. He came by and answered any questions we had about the puzzles, technology, or props after the game ended.

A surprisingly unique and well designed room. Some of the riddles are a bit silly, our host gave us hints without prompted which was rather unfavorable. Some great innovative tech for the Jumanji theme. Overall, great use of space and a great homage to the film.

Overall solid game. The set design was wonderful. Most of the puzzles felt satisfying. There was a few times the dim lighting posed an unnecessary challenge for us but we still escaped the room regardless. I could really nitpick if I had to but overall Iβd definitely say this is one of the best games Iβve played in New Mexico!

Loved the theming and the "centralized" nature of this puzzle. A high tech room that maintained a lot of fun tactile puzzles.

Very immersive room. I have done hundreds all over the US and this place is honestly one of my favorite.
β...the board game was beautiful... It reacted to inputs turning every solve into an event. β
