Find the Inheritance The 1800s California gold rush was a time when just about anyone could get lucky with a fortune. No one knew this better than your recently deceased relative, Clyde Hamilton. Though he’s since passed, the prospector left behind quite a pretty penny in gold. As his surviving next of kin, he’s offered you a chance to claim the gold fortune as an inheritance for yourself…if you can find it! You’ve only got 60 minutes to get into Clyde’s cabin and take the gold stash before news of the fortune reaches other greedy ears in town…

What an awesome game gold rush was! We did the gold mine as well as train travel. Both are challenging but so so fun and we had a blast solving every puzzle. We love that getting hints doesn’t hurt you in anyway as we needed a helping hand at the beginning of train travel. Once we got the ball rolling we were going through the puzzles so quickly it was so thrilling! The staff are so incredible they would come in celebrating and chanting with us and seemed so genuine in their excitement of our completion. It was definitely fun as everyone got to solve their own puzzle since there were so many but also working together on many of them as well. Super cool how big the set was it kept going and I couldn’t figure out how we’d get to the next section but once we did - how awesome is that!! Highly recommend!

Very much enjoyed this game. A very straightforward game, but well thought out to challenge any level players. I would say tho ideally suited for no more than 4 ppl. More than that and the room could start to feel tight. Overall - great experience - definitely recommend!

Fairly straightforward room with some unique skill-based puzzles that might be frustrating. Otherwise, excellent room with fun puzzles and a cool immersive set.
Gameplay
Flow was pretty good. Some of the puzzles required a certain level of skill that made it frustrating to progress especially if you don’t like getting clues.
Atmosphere
Set design was very immersive and impressive and lended themselves to the puzzles well. No special effects that amazed me, and I thought some props weren’t used in the way I hoped but otherwise very good.

On the positive - The staff were great and very accommodating with a late comer. Also the room was a hit with a newbie player! (their target audience) On the negative - As an enthusiast the room was lackluster and exactly what I would expect from a chain location with a budget for set design and is just ok with lazy puzzles. The room was filled with four digit locks and key padlocks with no in-game clues as to which combination/key goes with which lock. There was also a fickle skill based game which was just a time suck. I’m not a fan of carnival games in a gold mine.
