Insane Asylum

Very fun and clever room. The theme was consistent, and immersive. I really like that that the keys were color coordinated to the locks. There was not often a challenge to figure out which clues went with which puzzle or lock, so we were just able to focus on solving the puzzle itself, which was super enjoyable. It was pretty challenging, but nothing too crazy. A well rounded party should be able to make it out! Highly reccomend both this room and paniq in general!!!

Sadly, I'm going to sound a bit harsh. Had a few issues with this game. The opening puzzle was in terms of difficulty quite hard (as compared) to the test and not as intuitive as should have been. Granted we had 8 people (which is a lot) but it's a non-linear room mostly, yet there were two points in the game/2 different puzzles where everyone was waiting around while 2 people had to use mechanical skills to solve something. It's never good when a mechanical puzzle takes > 10 minutes & there's no clue other than just doing it successfully (similar vexing ones have been putting a golf ball into a hole or throwing something into an elevated basket) A nice creepy asylum set although it's clearly an older game that could stand to be updated some. Still, some puzzles were decent.

This room nails the creepy asylum experience! Very dark, some creepy moments, though nothing really startling. Hard to see in the dark without flashlight for much of it, but it was still enjoyable. In fact, it was one of my favorite rooms at this location. Most puzzles are reasonable, maybe on the harder side, though there is a heavier emphasis on dexterity puzzles and co-op puzzles. Some things are repeated between rooms at this company. The drugs you’re looking for are factual names, which is a nice touch. First room’s puzzle may have made me a little crazy though. Maybe too crazy… it’s probably why we ended up here in the first place!
