Really fun room! The staff was super nice and had lots of energy, which was one of our favorite parts. I recommend to check this room out if you are in the area!

I believe there is an elevator to get to the second floor.
It’s a little bit hidden on the second floor, depending on what app you use to navigate it might not take you to the correct part of the building.

Overall it was fun. We did this room with 4 people and that seemed like a good number. Puzzles overall were quite linear and there wasn’t any level of overlap or waiting to use any of the supplies. When something opened, that’s the only thing we needed until the next task was unlocked.
Very linear - only one puzzle at a time and it was fairly clear when a door opened what that new item would be used for

Honestly this room was so amazing. Very high tech. Me and my mom love magic and mysteries so being able to do these was amazing. The room itself was so cool everything opens as it supposed to with words or the next clue. Merlin is so cool and his trials are easy. We did it with 2 people plus completed all the extra quest. So funny and fun. 10/10 recommend

Really enjoyed this one. We were able to do it with two adults and one kid age 12. We got some clues to escape. The rooms were really well done, with some genuinely creative puzzles. The storyline is interesting and engaging and the ending was pretty creative. We did the rabbit hole one here and felt this one was far and away the better room.

Having tried a bunch of Trapped rooms and liking them all, I signed my family of for Trials of Merlin due to all the positive reviews. First off, in terms of set design and tech, this one is fantastic. Great theming, some fun use of technology and overall a very decent linear experience. In addition, as always with Trapped, the GM was fantastic (Sam was our GM). The last room also had one of the best story highlights I've experience so far in an escape room, and was a subject of fun for our family afterwards! Ultimately though, there's a few things that keep me from recommending this room. One of the puzzles in the first room involved looking at some visual clues to see whether you succeeded or failed, but was actually very spotty on implementation. We were trying different combinations and some seemed to trigger the bad state correctly, but other times, nothing happened. Eventually our GM had to nudge us past what felt like a broken puzzle. The other thing I didn't like is that this room felt more like a series of tasks as opposed to puzzles. Again, very thematic and well implemented, but didn't make me feel like I accomplished anything. Ultimately because of those two things I cannot recommend it, and would even point someone towards their older and less techy Down the Rabbit Hole as a better alternative. If they fix that first puzzle I would put it back into the recommend category, as it is a very thematic and cool room.

A fun game with some nice uses of technology. Not the most super duper cutting edge stuff but it all works well enough and I found the experience entertaining. Requires a lot of communication and coordination among the group. Not the greatest puzzles, but not the worst. I wouldn’t say go out of your way to play it, but if you are in the area, it is a fun room.

Such a fun wizard room. It has a lot of different puzzles than I think we're used to in magic rooms and I loved it.

Tech is a little too finicky so plan to be very patient and frustrated, but the overall theme was fun. I didn’t feel like this room had many puzzles so expect more immersive atmosphere than actual puzzling. I’ve seen this theme executed much better elsewhere so I hope they add some actual puzzling in here.

We'd played Pandora's Box earlier in the day, and it was solid just like the other rooms we've played at Trapped, so we decided to give this room a shot. The room is very goofy, and we laughed a lot, but it was due more to the fact that we were exhausted and slap happy than that the room was particularly funny. There were some elements of humor which I thought were the only redeeming qualities of the room. In my opinion, there are only two puzzles in the whole room. For everything else you're basically following instructions. Also, the tech is kinda janky and there's more reading than I prefer in an escape room. This is the fifth room weve played with Trapped, and the first one we didn't like.
