You have heard rumors of an abandoned carnival which closed down abruptly after a couple of teenagers went missing. The site has been boarded-up for over a decade and nothing more was heard. Recently, locals have reported lights and sounds coming from the carnival site every night between 11pm and Midnight. When police were called to investigate, no trace of life could be found. Being the inquisitive fellows that you are, you thought you might take a look around. You arrive just before 11pm. As you do, the lights flicker on and music begins to play. The gates slam shut behind you. Can you discover what happened to the missing teenagers and escape the Cursed Carnival before you too are lost forever?

A couple of puzzles could have been interpreted validly in at least a couple of ways using the same logic that the answer was based on. Some elements completed earlier or allowed us to skip parts so didn’t flow too well.

Felt like we were rushed through it. Didn’t flow particularly well. Needed more signposting for other puzzles. Host was nice, but again, keeps coming into the room to give you clues. Also, played the live actor, so between costume changes. Wasn’t watching our game. Was sold as really scary by the website and the staff there…wasnt.

Never the best settings inside a bowling alley in our experience but GM was good and made the most of the game that was OK but not amazing. Not many puzzles and a bit of a reach for some of them but fun overall. Don’t go with high expectations and you should enjoy

Ok room. Not really scary. Pretty basic. Some red herring type stuff which is always disheartening.
