Safarka's expeditions were always filled with the most mysterious adventures. Recruits will be accompanied by a recruiter who will be evaluating and giving all the necessary information so that they can perform the tests. The tests, based on past expeditions, are varied – either facing unknown tribes, or entering the heart of an immense forest, passing through an unconventional bar and ending up in a war scenario. The most important thing is for recruits to be able to use empirical, scientific knowledge, physical strength and logic to be able to unlock the secrets that Safarka once unlocked. What none of those present know is that Samuel has other plans for these new recruits.
13 escape rooms
The expedition room is actually several escape rooms in 1. Instead of 1 room for 60 minutes, it is 4 rooms of 15 mins each. I appreciate that they are trying something a bit different but it can be a little frustrating to be stuck after a 15m timer is done. There was a fun element that I’d never experienced before involving the live actor / game master in which they take notes on your performance. That was fun to read at the end. Some puzzles were very challenging. I’d rate this room as Hard.
The gameplay didn’t flow very well because the 4 rooms felt very different from each other.

The puzzles are cool and there are several interesting rooms, but you have to play each room in 15 minutes or less, instead of a typical 60min game. We almost always were 1 or 2 minutes away from completing each room, but the time pressure really killed the joy and the immersion, for us it wasn’t a good fit. The GM was great and funny, the game was ok but I would only recommend it to players that enjoy timed challenges or want to be the fastest.
Carolina was a great GM and always in character.
