The Conjoining

This was my favourite escape room so far!! I am generally not a fan of anything scary but it only made it so much more fun. The puzzles flowed really well and going between rooms to solve puzzles really added to the spook! The storyline was excellent and definitely lots of cool special effects that made it really immersive. We did have a bit of tricky time with the final puzzle as the technology wasn’t as obvious as needed but other than that, I loved this room so so much!!

Great effects, awesome atmosphere, and great experience

I did have my reservations with this one beforehand as there’s already a few supernatural horror rooms out there that miss the mark but I ended up having a lot of fun in The Conjoining! Rush do really well to maintain the eerie atmosphere and tension with their sound design and unique room layout. An interesting inclusion to have both exits and covered by curtains, but it didn’t really take anything away from it. Puzzle flow was solid, making players go between rooms quite frequently to discover new items was a good call and lended itself well to the horror genre as my group was constantly splitting up. The puzzles themselves were nothing crazy or out of the box with the finale of the room feeling a bit abrupt and anticlimactic. While I thought the tech was used really well throughout, I felt it really could’ve been ramped up for the ending. Oh well. Still great spooky fun, shoutout to Georgia who was lovely and great to chat to!

Pretty scare room especially for people who are frightened easily but such a fun room!! So many cool puzzles!

Very scary!!The part when you have to go under the bed gave us goosebumps!

This was a fun and scary room with a brilliantly designed constant spooky atmosphere that kept us on edge the entire time.

Amazing room but rather scary!

I enjoyed this! Nothing like the ghost haunting you to play tricks on you whilst you try to escape! A couple of hard puzzles which we enjoyed having to figure them out!

They definitely meet the brief with the suspense factor in this room, it felt like you were in a horror movie waiting for something to happen. We completed it with two people which proved tricky particularly with one of the puzzles, I would recommend more than 2 players. We needed to ask for a couple of clues but for the most part it flowed well and the puzzles made sense.
