Prison Break

Fun room, there are a lot of puzzles so there’s always something for people to work on. I would say 4-6 people is ideal.

Great prison escape room! Got stumped a few times and fresh take on the puzzles. Appreciated the little story and charm that went into this room. Would suggest 4 for this room!

I usually don’t like prison break rooms because it could feel one-sided where one room has more to do than the other but this room is the exception. Reading through some other reviews, I can confirm that this prison break had enough non-linear elements to keep everyone busy throughout the experience. I also love me some out of the box thinking! As for the set design, whimsical is the word that comes to mind. The attention to detail with the paint job and the colors on the wall added to the Alice in Wonderland theme. The other room, Wicked in Wonderland, has more explicit references but this room is complementary in its whimsy. I also learned later on that the escape room owners customize all their props with a 3D printer. Great job team! One thing that I will say they could improve on is the storytelling. I think the travel portion got lost on us towards the end and I wish they had more time-travel related puzzles if they were going to keep this theme. However, besides the puzzle theming, I have no complaints! Service was great. Our game master was accommodating and a little sarcastic! Loved it and would recommend the room just so you can see the beautiful handcrafted props!

The room was great. Puzzles were really clever and fun. Great atmosphere. The story line didn’t quite make sense but I liked the concept of it. I loved the decorations and music.

Really enjoyed this room, but agree that the storyline doesn’t make a whole lot of sense 😂 But we don’t care about story and we love lots of puzzles, so this room was a good one for us! There’s a split start, and I always enjoy that challenge because it requires cooperative communication. There was also a good mix of different types of puzzles. We did it as a team of 3 enthusiasts who mostly stuck together on all the puzzles so we don’t miss out on anything or complete the room too quickly, and we got out with about 10 mins to spare. We probably would’ve gotten out more quickly if we were better at search and find! 😜

One of my favorite Gen 1 games I’ve ever done. The flow was organic and a blast. The puzzles were perfect. Such a rewarding game.

The second room of the night we did here! We had a great time doing this room. Only had about 3.5 minutes left, but we made it out. We can’t wait to come back and play their third room when it’s finished. Thanks Bre for being a great GM!

Great room! We usually don't like prison- themed room but this one is different. A lot of puzzles for 2 but they flowed pretty well. Plus, they were non-linear so we could spread out to do our own things. Our GMs were very attentive and mindful as they could adjust some parts that we asked for. Highly recommended!

Prison was not our favorite theme when doing escape rooms. We had done some prison-theme rooms before and did not enjoy them. But this room will be our ONLY exception, and we are 100% sure about that. Why? Because our GMs, aka the owners, make it more interesting for us. There were only 2 of us, my girlfriend and I, playing in this room, and it was so hard to get through because there were lots of things to do. The props were unique, immersive, and hand-made by the owners. Puzzles were challenging, especially with only the 2 of us; thankfully, our GM was willing to guide us so that we could escape. We immensely enjoy playing in this room and meeting with the owners.

This was hard for two people. There was a lot to do. But if you have a great partner, even if that partner said “we’re not gonna make it”, but you keeping pushing it’s totally doable. Had a great game master who helped with some nudges, confirmations and hints. Totally fun!!! Keeps you engaged!!
