The artworld is in shock when news breaks that arguably the most famous painting in the world has been stolen, the Mona Lisa is missing. The Louvre in Paris that housed the world-famous art piece by Da Vinci, has offered a massive reward, of $50 million. As an underworld art dealer yourself, you hear on the grapevine that the flamboyant and extremely dangerous Russian billionaire and art gallery owner, Vladimir Stepanov, is responsible for the theft. Stepanov has a reputation as a ruthless and dangerous businessman - get caught, and there’s no telling what he will do. The risks are heavy, but so is the reward. Your team gathers together and forms a plan to infiltrate Stepanov’s private gallery where you are sure he’s stashed away the Mona Lisa. Through your contacts, in the underground art world, your group secures an invite to his gallery. You manage to sneak away from the guards and are able to hide out until the gallery closes. The guards make their rounds once every hour so you must hurry! One of the world’s greatest pieces of art lies in wait. Use your teamwork to uncover its location and make it out. But you mustn't get caught, if Stepanov’s guards discover you, it will surely be the end for your group. Work fast and remember, time is of the essence!

I really liked this room. The puzzles made sense within the story world. The ending was a neat touch. I hope Escapology continues to innovate like they’ve done with this one and the Batman room.

Mona is a great room for people who enjoy linear games! I liked it a lot and thought the puzzles were fun, without being super impossible. Had a cool element to it towards the end and for it being one room, had plenty of puzzles to be solved!

This room is a linear room with some very fun special effects. My girlfriend and I enjoyed this room and we were definitely challenged. The theming was very good and backstory gave a good feeling of suspense. I would say this is a room made for someone just starting out in escape rooms and wanting to get their feet wet on different types of escape rooms. For us it’s a storyline we’ve heard a lot before and it was a little underwhelming for us, but I don’t want to take away the fact that the theming and storyline was great! I would recommend this room for someone trying to bolster their variety of rooms.

This was one of the better Escapology rooms we have played. The puzzles were fun and most of them were unique puzzles I hadn't encountered before in prior games. I would recommend this one.

One of the flashlights did not work, but thankfully we used a different one to help solve our puzzle.

Mobile-accessible except for a part where you may have to duck and contort your body in certain ways in order to avoid touching things. However, this only has to be done with one member of your party. There aren't too many audio cues. You will need to be able to see fairly well. At least one member of your party must not be color blind.

It is located at Sunset Walk, so the parking lot is not right next to the building where the company is located. Might be a little harder to find parking on weekend nights and/or when events are happening.

Fun, but a few bad puzzles leave you scratching your head and asking for a clue. But overall fun.
Some puzzles are wonky and don’t make logical sense.

Did not like it one bit. Without hints at times I’m not sure how we were actually supposed to solve the puzzles. Some tech didn’t work, there was a portion with magnets which was super frustrating as they weren’t strong enough to work well. Frustrating was the key word for this room, definitely not on my recommended list.
