Alien Alumni

This is one of my favorite rooms from The Unlockables!! Mary was our GM (for all 8 games!) and she was so awesome. Thank you Mary for being so patient and helpful with us, and for sticking with our group all day! The theming for this room is so cute, puzzles are fun and the story was 👩‍🍳 💋 The lobby for this location alone is worth the visit. Some puzzles really stumped us but the ending was so satisfying! ALL of the rooms at The Unlockables are so fun and unique. Our group loved every second we spent solving puzzles. The lobby decor for all locations is so unique, the group pictures are so cute too! We broke the record for the Y2K Virus room and for the Oracle room 💁‍♀️ Thank you to the owner, Edwin. He’s so welcoming, we can’t wait to be back!

Good room! An update to the HD detention we did a few years ago and while similar asthetic the room was updated with different puzzles and it was fun to have the alien vibe.

This was a pretty fun room. The lobby was small but cute. The GM explained the rules very fast, but he was nice. The GM who gave us clues was great. We did this with just 2 of us, and I would not recommend more than 3 players total. The spaces were small. The puzzles were generally fun and mostly linear - but make sure to keep track of what you use! You discover some things early on that don’t come into play until much later. This room highly depends on clear communication between players. A decent game if you have a few under your belt.

Fun game that is a revamp of the old High School detention game which was at house of Hints and now Unlockables. Seems like the staff at Benton High is not who they seem… If you played Detention: Layout wise it is the same game. Puzzles wise, they have changed lightly. All puzzles are now themed toward the Alien story and the ultimate goal of the game is different. However if you remember anything about detention this game might be too easy for you as you know what areas to interact with. (➕) Great game for beginners, fun elements, and great lighting effects. Not scary, despite the alien theme. (➖) Caution if you played detention and are expecting an entirely new game.
