One of my least favorite escape rooms. I think it's mostly because I didn't watch the movie prior to doing the escape room (watching the movie is NOT required). But I think that's why I struggled with understanding the storyline and I guess that also affects my puzzle-solving abilities. Other than that, the theme was great, our GM was okay, and I guess I could've performed better if I was more invested with the story. Overall, it was okay, just was not my cup of tea.

This has definitely been one of my favorite escape rooms ever played! Hex Room at Crossroads will always be my #1 favorite (and I will die on that hill) and the 13th Basement will be my 2nd, but Sev3n at Deceptive Games just made 3rd place. I cannot say enough about this room. Sev3n, including the other rooms at Deceptive Games, are very high quality escape rooms between the storyline, props, and game play. Sev3n is a smaller space, but they utilized the space very well and efficiently. The props were very important and sufficient in solving the puzzles, and it was helpful to know that the puzzle boxes were nearby the puzzles themselves. This escape room is non-linear, so it’s important to communicate and DIVIDE AND CONQUER! Each major sin had its own difficulty level, so I would recommend a team of 3+ because it could be very challenging with a group of 2, depending on each player’s skill level. I played as a group of 3 the first time around and we didn’t escape (but were close), and then I played again as a group of 2 and just solved the other puzzles that I didn’t solve in the first round. The 2nd time as a group of 2, he escaped (if you know, you know), so it was fulfilling for me to see how Sev3n actually would have ended. Over all, I had such a great time and I’m truly sad this place is closing! I can’t wait to see where they relocate and what rooms they open up next.
I cannot say enough about the gameplay of Sev3n! It was so immersive that I really felt like I was in a creepy escape room trying to save my/our lives. Everything flowed really well together for it being a non-linear escape room, which is what I prefer.
Everything from the set design, the props, the music, and our Game Master, it made the atmosphere very immersive. I was truly impressed and it was very high quality!
I had Joseph the first time around and then Sonya the second time, and they were both great! They added to the story and were helpful when assisting in some of the puzzles that we were struggling with.

Lots of parking out front. Located in a business center.

Non linear style room that's pretty challenging in nature. What you're solving is pretty close to the actual puzzle/lock/whatever you're solving it for, so it does make it a little easier to figure out. Still, the puzzles were pretty challenging and we escaped with something like 30 seconds to go. The actual puzzles themselves made you think for the most part, although at least one we overthought. Needed a few prods, but we figured them out.

Great room with challenging puzzles, smaller space but lots to do at once

A lot of great Easter eggs to the movie, though no knowledge of it is needed to solve. Great design for a very small space. Challenging puzzles with some cool tech. Had a great time!
GM was amazing!
3
It's a very busy room so if you're not 2 efficient experts, 3 is a good number. It's a small space, so 4 will get tight, but hey if yall like being in each other's space, that's cool!

We just survived Their Butcher room and still had the rush to do another room. Even after closing, Joseph was able to accommodate us for Sev3n! The room is smaller than The Butcher and normally I would do this with 4 people but we still did it with six which was fine, but it did get a little hot in there. The set design was great, props scattered everywhere and everything you’d expect for this theme. The puzzles were a lot of fun and we ate them all up! It's not scary like The Butcher but maybe at the same level eeriness as The Hex Room. We escaped with about 20 mins left!
Non-linear. Our favorite!
It is what we expect for this theme
Joseph accommodated us after closing!

5/10 Seven? More like Seven layers of hell. If you are two players they actually REMOVE puzzles so you don’t get to experience everything. Multiple things were broken so our game master had to intervene twice. The concept has potential, the execution fairly poor, and the story is muddle-some.
