The 1800s California gold rush was a time when just about anyone could get lucky with a fortune. No one knew this better than your recently deceased relative, Clyde Hamilton. Though he’s since passed, the prospector left behind quite a pretty penny in gold. As his surviving next of kin, he’s offered you a chance to claim the gold fortune as an inheritance for yourself…if you can find it! You’ve only got 60 minutes to get into Clyde’s cabin and take the gold stash before news of the fortune reaches other greedy ears in town…

The set design was really nice, as expected of an escape room at The Escape Game. The puzzles were pretty linear, and most of them were easy enough to figure out. There were a few parts that I think could be updated (one puzzle in particular was very hard to see and near impossible to complete unless done EXACTLY right). I wish The Escape Game would follow what most companies do and allow for private bookings (and not charge and arm and a leg to do so); this, a pretty delayed start time, and having to wait outside the facility were the only hiccups. We still had a great time overall.

It was short and enjoyable. There was one part of the room that’s clearly in bad repair though, and it resulted in us bypassing a puzzle. They gave us vouchers as compensation though.

Cute set design and just an overall straightforward fun room. One of the puzzles broke and we got free shirts in return. A little crowded at max capacity

Good theme in my opinion, but some puzzles were really hard to think of what to do on them. I think we spent like 25 minutes not knowing what to do, then quickly figured out after. Pretty small and not too many puzzles though.

Fun and immersive. Great use of space. Multiple doors to solve with a variety of puzzles. Linear. Only downfall is that the rooms are NOT private.

Fairly well designed room with nice props and smooth mechanics. Puzzles were on the easier side with somewhat repetitive solution patterns. Overall a great room for beginners.
