As a big fan of the show, Stranger Things, I appreciated the Easter eggs and the set design itself. The game flowed in a linear fashion. There was one puzzle that felt too much of a stretch for me but the other puzzles made sense. Out of all the rooms at Cinema Escapes, I felt the least impressed with the creativity of the puzzles here. I would skip this one if you were considering the other rooms in this location.

Super fun room whether you are a stranger things fan or not! The room was a bit suspenseful but nothing crazy. My team of 4 killed it with fun clues that took you back to the 90’s! You have to check out this room!

This was a fun escape room! I absolutely love the show, so I was impressed with the set design and understood all of the references to Stranger Things! I completed this escape room with 3 others (a group of 4,) and I felt like it was a great amount! It is definitely doable with 2 people, but 4 people was perfect in order to work together, as well as separately on certain puzzles. If you love Stranger Things, you will enjoy the concept of this room because there are small easter eggs, a-ha! moments, and you just being in awe of the set design.
The gameplay flowed pretty well. The only challenges of the room was knowing where to start and where to continue when we got stuck. We had to ask for a few clarifying hints, and our game master was helpful with that.
I loved the atmosphere! It was true to Stranger Things, and the special effects, set design, and props made you feel like you were immersed in the fictional town of Hawkins.
The Hint System in this game was simple, yet easy to follow. Whenever we needed assistance, our Game Master would nudge us in the right direction and was very attentive to our needs in solving the puzzles.

This place was really expensive for me total lack of production quality. Maybe it was supposed to be that way since it was trying to copy a show but it didn't come off that way at all. It just came off as cheap and no originality. To me they did a good job of copying other escape room business puzzles but didn't put a lot of effort into creating a game worth the price. We visited because of the reviews but shouldn't have.

Some cool looking references to the show. It’s not very extensive but has a lot of 80s decor and items that brought about some nostalgia. Would say this is a difficult room but we did overlook a couple simple things which we had to ask for a nudge or 2. Our GM was very nice and welcoming. Just kind of felt as we completed the room, it was kind of an abrupt finish as the GM came in while some of the effects of the room were still in motion. Didn’t really get a moment to take it in and feel the completion of the room. But other than that, it was a fun one.
