the theme was not that interesting, there wasn’t any amazing props or wow momements. the puzzles didn’t flow very well without being facilitated by the GM. it didn’t help that our room was reset incorrectly and was missing crucial prop

It was fun. The Room is amazing. Though if you're going for the premise it's kinda messed up. Houdini was entirely engainst psychics but the entire premise shits on that. It felt like they were spitting on Houdini. If you care about Houdini at all I advise to avoid

Loved Houdini's Last Escape! Good for beginner and advanced puzzlers alike. Not impossibly hard but not easy either. Cool atmosphere and theming. Love the authentic, handcrafted feel of this place. I also dug that our game master stayed in theme when giving clues. She was a delight. Some slight nitpicks - a little too many combo locks + the initial room is sparse / feels a bit out of place + most of the puzzles weren't really integrated with the theme / story. However, the whole experience is capped off with a climactic (and in-theme!) final puzzle for a spectacular finish. Would recommend!

Excellent gameplay and very cool atmosphere. Enjoyed every facet of it. Well suited for mid level experience. GM was very attentive! Lots of great technology integration.

Was a fun room! The puzzles were fun and our game master was great! Loved the atmosphere and it brought me back to watching magic shows as kids.

Cool theming, puzzles were pretty good, though the room was a little buggy. One door opened when we didn't trigger it, and the game master had to have us redo a part to get it to work.
