Zombie v.2

Best thematic place. The actual hotel then in the lobby was even cooler than the escape room. The whole style and structure is just amazing. The game itself was way fun too. This one was really hard though. Be ready to do a lot of mental gymnastics. Well worth it though.

Second room we did and our group like crypt better. This room was also fun but took us a minute to start figuring out our puzzles. It was a bit dark as they are trying to create an experience but that along with the music which was to loud made it hard to hear and think at points. Solid room for sure and enjoyable

We did the rooms at this location over a year ago and they are all very well put together. You can’t go wrong with any of them from what I remember. They all have some sort of a spooky aspect to them! For my first escape rooms over a year ago I was very impressed!

I wish I could give this review a "not good not bad" review. The room itself is so immersive and really awesome to look at. I just hate that my experience was ruined by multiple puzzles being broken. Some things were so broken that the game master had to come in the room to help us. I wouldn't mind if it was only one puzzle, but having the GM come in multiple times and not offer any compensation really left a bad impression. Puzzles were cool if they worked properly.

The room itself had great atmosphere but maybe to dark. However, we were stuck with technical difficulties on puzzle for probably 15-20 minutes. We figured it out quickly, and asked for a hint when it seemed like it wasn’t working. They basically said we are doing it right and to keep trying. Eventually it worked but it was frustrating because it gave us so little time to do most of the rest of the room. If a mechanical element isn’t working I’d much rather the host just step inside and give us whatever we need to proceed. That said, I did this room four years ago (2019) so this may be fixed now. Also, while our host wasn’t very friendly, the folks at the front desk were really funny and nice.

The room itself was great immersion, but the puzzles had a lot of technical difficulties or needed to be done in a very specific way that wasn’t super intuitive and made us get stuck when we had the right idea, but couldn’t get the exact right execution.

I really don’t know how to rate this one. I liked it ok, my group had a great night, but I would not recommend it to anyone. So take that as you will.

Aside from a very obvious puzzle that we didn’t catch on to - very fun game not too scary
