Bank Heist

Played with a group of 8. There are a LOT of puzzles in this room and while they aren’t necessarily challenging, the quantity makes a bigger group (probably at least 4) ideal. The set was functional and fun, but for a bank, it lacked a lot of the types of interactive technology we were expecting. There are a LOT of locks to get through and the gameplay is non-linear, so a lot of time was spent sorting out which keys went to which locks, including managing keys for later use. The laser area shown in the promo photos is very fun but did not work quite correctly for us. Overall would recommend, was fun for a party.

This was my favorite room at this location! Parallel puzzle flows kept our small team busy the whole time, and everything made sense. Our GM, Nik Nak, was wonderfully personable and ready with subtle nudges when requested. Beginners may want to save this room for later as we had to sustain a relatively swift solving succession to secure all solutions in time. The new policy guidance for acceptable collateral made me chuckle.

It was pretty math oriented which was actually the hardest part. Also not very plus-size friendly with the lasers and small area to grab some of the clues. But it was enjoyable enough.

It was a pretty easy room, the person who was our game master kind of messed us up by telling us to not do part of the room when we started but it would have been better to have been blind and done it. Overall good, a great starter room!

Yes, this room has lasers. Don’t go for that reason - it is a small aspect of the room. Several of the puzzles were convoluted. We loathed the live in-the-room supervisor, though the lady was very kind. My wife and I did this room alone and often joke about one of the final puzzles that we found to be one of the stupidest puzzles in an an escape room we’ve ever encountered. Think “dad joke” applied to a puzzle. Skip this one.
