234 escape rooms

Rating: 3.5/5 - Fun, unique puzzle room, great for all ages If you go in with the mindset that this isn't an escape room, it's a puzzle room, then you'll have a better time. There is no story, it's a bunch of puzzles in a single room with a loose theme, and the goal is to score as many points as possible by solving the puzzles. Each puzzle rewards you foam balls which you toss into a hole that will add up your score at the end, this part added some physical challenge to the game which we really liked. Almost every puzzle is available from the start, so it's non-linear and the room has no tech, everything is mechanical/physical/locks. Normally I prefer tech but making everything physical added some old-school charm. It was a fun variety of puzzles: physical manipulation, matching, mazes, counting, patterns/symbols, dexterity, visual, searching, ropes, teamwork/communication etc. With so many, you're bound to find something you enjoy. Some were easy and some were more challenging, it was the right balance that I think both kids and adults would have a good time. If one puzzle is too hard, then you can always go to a different puzzle and revisit it later. Unlike other puzzle rooms that just end when the time is up, I like that a ball release at the end made it more exciting. This game is playable by 2 adults but you will need to solve things in parallel, you should have time to finish everything unless you get stuck on a puzzle or two. I'd recommend 2-4 enthusiasts. We played both Castle and Pirate Ship, both were equally fun. Pirate ship is a bit more challenging though with a slightly more elaborate set. Note that this review applies to either room so I just copied this review to the other room.

508 escape rooms

Like the other rooms here, these puzzle rooms are just that, puzzle rooms. Each game is a room filled with escape room style puzzles that are challenging and fun. The only differences between these games are the puzzles and the loose “theme”. These are great games for all ages, but I’d recommend ages 8 and over.

400 escape rooms

This room was really unique in how you score and “win”. It’s definitely a good one for families and gives kids a fun outlet for collecting points. We completed all the puzzles as a group of two, but there was a lot of ground to cover. The sets are cute and well themed, but simple. The rooms don’t have ceilings so you can hear other players during your game.
