Can you find Captain Crapsalot’s long lost treasured booty? Captain Crapsalot was an infamous pirate who sailed for years on his ship, The Brown Barnacle. Now Captain Crapsalot and his crew were supposedly some of the worst pirates to ever live. According to legend, their long voyage only ended due to them managing to shipwreck in the land-locked state of Tennessee. Captain Crapsalot and his crew were never seen again. New evidence suggests, however, that Captain Crapsalot and his Number Two survived and took his treasured booty and lived the rest of his days here, at Smoky Mountain Escape Games. You are now on a quest, in which many others before you failed, to find the treasured booty and maybe even discover what happened to Captain Crapsalot and his Number Two.

Great for all ages. We had 8 teens/adults and three small children. Everyone was able to help and contribute. Everyone had a great time! Puzzles were complex but fun. Fairly linear which is what we like.
Did not look low budget at all. Great for a small place.
Very accommodating. Great to work with.

Overall, good room!! One thing had us thinking we were breaking the room, so we had to get prompted to do it. One part is broken, we wasted time because we didn’t realize it was broken. The owner, Chris, is super sweet and a great GM. We really liked the room, it’s one of the best we’ve seen from a small company. Lots of fun elements and unique puzzles.

There’s a replacement part, but it was in a different area so we were confused. The broken part isn’t labeled either, so we spent a while trying to get it to work before realizing it was just broken

For Pirate rooms, which we have played a lot, this one had some unique elements and we enjoyed the room. When we went I do not think it was operating as they were trying to update some elements, but the host/owner was kind enough to let us experience it. We stumbled into skipping a whole series of puzzles by unlocking something before it was time and the operator had to come in and back us up. Overall a solid game.

Our family can’t get enough of this place. We don’t miss it when we visit. They are actively building out 2 more games and we have our fingers crossed that at least one will open when we visit again in January 2024. Surrounding Escape Game businesses are charging at least $10 more per person and still don’t measure up to this business. It’s our favorite!!
Game was linear which is what our gang enjoys. Puzzles were unique and easily made sense even though the game was difficult.

Friendliest staff in the area!!! My kid became scared, for no real reason, the game isn’t scary, the owner himself popped in with a popsicle to cheer her up and it worked like a charm!!
