LOVED this room. My friend and I have done many rooms and never find ourselves stumped but this one was tricky. The puzzles were cool and interactive and definitely required “puzzle brain” only needed a little nudge on one puzzle. You do start separate so make sure you play with someone you can communicate well

An exceptional experience that kicks off with a compelling narrative and never lets up. The room and puzzles are cleverly designed, necessitating constant, open communication to progress. With a fantastic variety of puzzle styles to tackle, the gameplay stays fresh from start to finish. This is a standout room that truly deserves all the praise it gets!
Great use of props which provided great visuals and fun
We didn't have enough time to finish as we hardly used hints, however our GM said we were close to finishing and offered to extend the time so we could complete the game, which was very generous.

This was a *fun* room! Great set and prop design, with some really fun reveals along the way. I enjoyed the story videos and appreciated the tech put into this room. The puzzles were fun and well themed. We played with 5 players and I felt that we all had something to do at all times and it didn’t feel overly crowded. I’d say you could play this room with 2 - 6 players and have a great time. It did a great job of requiring teamwork along the way. My only wish would be for a bit more challenge. We played with 3 people who had never done an escape room before and still got out with 23.5 minutes to spare, which feels like a lot. Throwing in some bonus puzzles for groups that are progressing this quickly would be a nice addition so we get more value for our money spent too. For those visiting Orlando from out of state like me, 2 of us are big escape room enthusiasts and were trying to target the best rooms in the area. We prioritized TERPECA rooms and found this and “Super Bomb Squad: Commandos Awesome!” at this location to be well worth our time. I would have liked to do a couple of the other rooms here rather than some of the others that I played at a different company because of how enjoyable these 2 were.

Flowed well and was just a lot of fun. I’ve done several pirate rooms, but this was my favorite so far.
Set design and props were all great! Perfectly in theme and very immersive with some fun reveals.

Yes, the set design was well made and made you feel like you were on a ship and there was some cool tech along the way that I hadn’t seen in an escape room before (after 150+ escape rooms), so I think this was an impressive room.
I really enjoyed the intro video and the cut scenes along the way. Very fun.
Medium
I’d say this would be Hard if we only had an hour, but at 75 minutes, I give this a Medium. We had 23.5 minutes left and we were playing with a few people who have never even played an escape room before, so it felt like we had plenty of extra time.
A combination of lots of combo locks and lots of tech.

I’d say 2 - 6 players. We played with 5 and I felt that everyone always had something they could be working on.

This is very kid and family friendly, so no age restrictions from a content perspective.

I think this game would be very accessible for those with mobility and color blindness. I would say that there were some parts of it that I found difficult to hear and we had to shush our whole group a few times, so it would have been nice if those messages had closed captions somewhere or if the volume was higher for those parts. Those with hearing impairment may miss those queues, although I think you’d still be able to proceed just as well. And you can always ask the GM to repeat the message I assume.

Some good unique puzzles. Good flow. A cool immersive visual effect. Good humor. Too dark. Good challenge. Couldn't complete 2 of the puzzles without smartphone flashlights. One element broken, but still a very fun room.

We could work around it. Added some annoyance and confusion, and if something fell apart completely a risk of getting completely stuck

We're not vision impaired but 2 of the puzzles were not solvable with the provided light. (Reading a combo lock and a second very cool more complex puzzle). We resorted to our smartphone flashlights

Loved this room! The theme & design were awesome! Great mix of different puzzles that make you think. Loved having to test our communication strength with being split into different rooms

Great set design. Spoopy bones has a slapstick comedy feel to it. The puzzles themselves were mostly straightforward but well constructed.

A beautifully emmersive set with a funny intro and a judgemental parrot. I played with me and my father and we somehow got out with a little help. Worth every penny!

Hard to maneuver if you have a player in a wheelchair, but if they can walk around its small enough for them to still help.

Good game. Harder with 2 people. And need to have good communication for the split start!

Overall, a great company and a good room! Definitely a step up from a lock and key room. We enjoyed the unique experiences Captain Spoopy had to offer!
Good for the most part; there was one puzzle that glitched that did cost us some time, but overall we were ok.
A unique set, but not an immersive one; very simple/standard room elements as far as furniture and decor with a couple of unique experiences.
Our GM was absolutely wonderful!
No
A pirate story, but a couple of unique elements to it that made it more interesting than most.
The plot was not an original one, but the elements made it a unique experience and were well-integrated into the storyline.
Medium
The puzzles require second order thinking, so a little more challenging than most rooms that are very direct answers, but it was still pretty easy to connect the pieces!
Mechanical
A solid mix of both tech and mechanical elements, but the beginning was a lot of mechanical.

I think 4 was great! The capacity says 14 and I simply CANNOT imagine that actually happening.

This room is not simple- level thinking and easy to connect puzzles like some rooms, I think teens and adults would enjoy it more.

We had one puzzle that we completed and we thought we needed to keep going but we couldn’t find the next piece to, so we asked the GM for help after a few minutes and they had us go back and redo the last step again and it triggered finally.

Color blindness and vision impairment would be a challenge in this room. Most mobility challenges could likely be accommodated, there may be a couple of puzzles that another player would need to assist with.
