Permanently Closed - Haunted Rose Presents: Realm of the Supernatural in collaboration with Whittier Museum have created a cosmic-horror themed haunted attraction, guaranteed to make you scream with terror and delight this Halloween weekend! Based on the cosmic horror Literature of H.P. Lovecraft, The Haunted Rose is the abode of Dr. Macabro, a maniacal mortician and scientist who is trying to contact his deceased wife Lenore and inadvertently opens the dimension to the sprint world unleashing the spirits of Whittier’s past onto the city!

We have gone to the haunted rose since it was a home haunt. It's come a long way. Last year it moved to the whittier museum. Last was good, this year was even better. A few tricks up their sleeves, be sure to pay attention during a certain scene. The build is fantastic and the museum mixed with their maze props works very well together. Scare actors were on their game and ready for you. They interact with you as well scare you. A must do. Tickets were $10 and worth it. If you go on Oct 28 and 29th they will have vendors, hearse's and entertainment. Mudd the magician will be performing on the 29th, if you haven't seen him, you are in for a treat.

Street parking. Come early to find good parking. Last year we arrived after it opened and it took awhile to find a spot. This year we arrived at 5 and found a good depot.
