A good game that I wanted to love more, but the puzzles pulled us out of the game several times more than they felt immersive. It was also unclear at times how the story was advancing which made it feel less immersive. Good production Value though

We did the game back to back with another one and to be honest this one was really high tech, very detailed rooms and amazing pot twists. be prepared for one of you guys to climb.

The atmosphere and puzzles in Godzilla vs. Kong were very cool. It seemed like there was alot to do, but the puzzles weren’t too difficult. There was a bit of climbing involved, which I thought was neat.

A mostly enjoyable experience with elevated scenic design, but the puzzling was hindered by automatic in-game hinting that we didn’t always want at the time. The game had potential for some fun puzzle reveals and “aha” moments, but we rarely got to those points on our own without the in-game hints leading us there automatically. The experience did offer some memorable special effects, and featured a couple of tasks we haven’t seen in an escape game before.
A nice variety of puzzles that all made sense logically, and good puzzle flow that lets a team spread out and solve multiple things at once, while still including big set piece moments where everyone comes together. More reliance on “fix our broken systems” type puzzles than we expected from a Godzilla & Kong room.
Some very immersive special effects sprinkled throughout the game. Good use of the tall vertical space that had us not just looking around, but looking up.
Sage took good care of us!

The atmosphere and scenic did most of the legwork of storytelling. The puzzles didn’t always link directly to the story, including one group activity during the middle of the game that felt a bit out of place for the story.
Medium
The puzzles themselves are fair, balanced, intuitive, and somewhat challenging on their own - a medium rating - but the automatic in-game hint system pushes this game towards an easy rating.
High tech
No locks - all mechanical or screen based puzzles.

Not scary
Not scary, but a couple of somewhat thrilling moments - akin to something you’d expect at a Universal Studios attraction, for example.

I really enjoyed this room. I thought the puzzles had fun ways of solving them.

I didn't enjoy this one. Some instructions were misleading or incorrect. Some puzzles were finicky and needed to be overridden by the game master.
Game master did his best to facilitate, but some game mechanics were finicky and/or unintuitive

Battle of the beasts! We fought off King King, braved the cave creatures and returned with an intact ax! Woo! 🦍🦖 Solid set, cool special effects, and good puzzling. Definitely an improvement on some of the older 60out games.
Cool transitions and engaging gameplay!
Set is definitely a strong point in this game

Really wanted to like this one, but left disappointed. While the technical execution was excellent, I feel like other older rooms can have more charm and ingenuity without needing excess technology. It barely was an escape room, more like a walk through experience. The puzzles were more like tasks and I don’t think I actually had to really think at any point. On a subjective level, I felt l the room was lacking wonder, depth, or heart. There also was an in-game hints system that would nudge us even though we asked for no unsolicited hints. I think it might be better suited for kids, but not escape room enthusiasts. While this is a particularly critical review, being one of the newest and technologically complex games on the market, it should hold its weight, especially at the price point.
There were basically just different tasks you had to do. Matching, searching, making simple connections. I don’t think I actually had to use complex reasoning once

very high-budget room with essentially no real thinking puzzles. a lot of focus went to set/prop design and high-tech. mild teamwork used, and thematically on point in regards to the humanside of Godzilla v Kong in the American movie version. one puzzle seemed out of place, felt like an arcade of sorts, but the rest were alright. works with people who enjoyed the action from the movies, and not for escape room veterans.
beginner-friendly, 2nd half of room made more sense
well done on set design and immersion
