with a larger space and unlimited production budget, this could be the sickest room. i crave a little more WOW when it comes to time travel. regardless, it was a fun low stress time. great for smallllll groups
high tech with a few mechanical flourishes. most of the game flies by because it is quite simple
incredibly kind staff, as always

clear story, a bigger more immersive room could make a time travel room CRAZY though

8/10 overall for the experience, difficulty, and cohesive storyline. I liked how there were a variety of puzzles that all tied into the story rather than the room being a bunch of lock and combination matching puzzles.

I’ve got a love/lukewarm relationship with Escape the Game. They’re all very proficient, but for the most part, you’re in a rectangular room doing pattern recognition for an hour. It’s not a spoiler to say in time travelers, you’re going to travel in time. The problem it’s they put 0 effort into immersion. When you arrive to a new place in time, you’re walking through a door with a few posters on the wall. Like an honest to god, standard size door. With posters. There’s some cool elements in there too but you’ll never feel like you’re transported somewhere else. You’ll feel like you’re in midtown, in a basement closet, doing mostly fun puzzles with friends and truly great staff. And that’s good enough.

6.8/10 We had high hopes for Timeliner: Train Through Time knowing how good The Escape Game’s rooms usually are. Although this was still a good room, we were a bit let down with it overall. This room is definitely on the easier side with really only one puzzle that had us stumped for a bit, but did make sense after we got a hint. We felt the biggest problem with this room was that they tried fitting way too much into it and most of it felt oversaturated. It felt as if they chose quantity over quality. We loved the idea of being able to time travel to different places, but other than the final room, we didn’t really feel any “Wow” moments during our experience. As mentioned before, this is not a bad room whatsoever, but we would definitely recommend other rooms from The Escape Game over this one.

Enjoyed the overall theming though the endgame was by far my favorite part. The time travel theme felt fresh and unique. As always with the Escape Game the staff was wonderful and attentive. The theming was on point and wonderfully excited.

We got stumped on how to start and begrudgingly had to ask for a clue and when we realized what to do we could have kicked ourselves!

Enjoyed the overall production quality of each room. Even if the puzzles weren’t too hard, I really enjoyed the look and feel of each room. Did feel technologically futuristic as it should be in a Time Machine!
Great production value overall

I liked this one more than I thought it would! It could’ve been more challenging overall (though there was one part that had us very stumped) but the tech on it was REALLY cool. Definitely recommend!!

Straightforward and easy, probably a good introduction to escape rooms. The storyline could use some work.

Story: 9/10 Theming: 8.5/10 Puzzles: 7/10 Bathroom: 7/10 We always have high expectations for the Escape Game and Timeliner didn't let us down! Very solid room. It was a nice mix of tech and physical props. There were some puzzles which we hadnt seen before and they definitely made us think. The only critique I would give is that I wish the intro video sound was a bit louder. Very minor. Great room and had a fun time!
Everyone was so nice and we love talking to the staff about all their other rooms in different locations. They're always very knowledgeable.

The scaffolding makes it hard to find if you don't know where it is. Unless you're looking for it, you'd walk right by it
