Overall fun, and the sets are top notch. It's like being in the movie. The actors do a fantastic job, and really make the experience. Many of the puzzles are pretty hard, made harder by the fact that they don't really belong in the It universe. Those that do fit are tons of fun, but the ones that don't make you think, "Why does It care about door keypad codes?" You can tell the actors that you want an easy experience and they will give you lots of hints, and then you can just enjoy being part of the It universe for an hour.

It was a really cool experience- it’s definitely more of an immersive experience with puzzles as the story elements often occur before the puzzling. It was very fun!
Gameplay
Gameplay made sense with the story
Atmosphere
The sets were taken straight from the movie basically
Customer service
2/3 actors were really wonderful, though the other pretty obviously didn’t want to be there. They sort of act as your GMs. The last one was great, introduced himself out of character when the game was done, offered to explain anything we didn’t understand
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
It was just like the movie and pretty immersive
Story
Same as the movie, roughly
Difficulty
Medium
There was a puzzle we didn’t manage to finish in time but other than that one we managed pretty well
Game tech
High tech
Lots of lighting and sound effects of course, a few animatronic moments
Ideal number of players
6
Hard to say, I think ten is maybe too many, but at least one puzzle is easier if you have 4+ people
Scary
Spooky
Few jumpscares, some dark moments, and of course It lurks- I think it depends if you’re afraid of clowns or maybe an arachnaphobe
Minimum age

A little spooky, but there was a kid in the group we were paired with that was probably around 8-10 who was fine- depends on the kid probably

Live actors

You have a character with you in every room who plays a part in the story and also is there to help when you’re stuck, some go with you to other rooms. I think there were three in this case, and while the first was a bit rough, the other two were phenomenal.
Physically active

At least one person has to get on the ground
Accessibility
At least one person needs to get on the ground and there’s a puzzle where colors are involved. The safety video mentions that wheelchair accessible routes are available
Easy to find location
Yes
It’s decked out with the capitol theater facade with lights on it so it should be easy to spot
Parking
Easy
We took an Uber but the parking lot was pretty empty

We didn't like this one as much as the sewer. The host seemed to push us a lot especially early on. The puzzles were just ok there are not many of them and the ones that are there can be done by one or two people. I gave it a thumbs up mainly because of the scenic. If you are looking for a fun walk through with a few puzzles sprinkled this is it but it's not an escape room.

I had read previous reviews, so I wasn’t expecting it to be heavy on the ‘escape’ aspect. However, I was surprised that there were more puzzles than I anticipated. Unfortunately, an actor/guide accompanies you throughout the experience and essentially walks you through every puzzle. Even though my group was doing well, the guide told us how to solve the puzzles before we even had a chance to figure them out ourselves, which took away a lot of the fun. While the set and immersion are impressive, it’s not very scary, so if you’re looking for a good haunted house, this may not be it. I’d only recommend it to someone who doesn’t regularly do escape rooms, as they might still enjoy it. Another thing to note is the group size – there are 10 people per group, and many of the rooms are VERY small for that number. If you’re even slightly claustrophobic, this is not for you. Even without claustrophobia, I often couldn’t see what was happening because there were too many people crowding the small space.

Amazing set and really great to experience. Very much a walk through experience and few true puzzle sequences. The timing of some of the rooms seemed at but off but as long as you go in with the expectations of light on the escape room/ heavy on the immersive walkthrough you’ll enjoy it! Plenty of great moments.

Not impressed. Was totally looking forward to the room but was less than impressed. Set design was spectacular but this was not an escape room. This was a rushed through, timed, ushered haunted house. It would have been better if they just let us walked through and looked at everything.

I would classify this more as an “escape experience”. Super fun, incredible set design, lots of rooms. Hadn’t seen the second movie but still engaging. I found most the puzzles on the easier side, but the overall theatrics, actors, and story well made up for it. Did the experience with a group of 3. Would not recommend more than 5.
