We had such a fun time! We had two people and got out with 10+ min left. We had to use two clues pretty quickly just to kind of figure out the flow of the game and then after that it was smooth sailing. Time traveling to the different periods was so much fun. Love this company!

Having worked at an escape room and played many, I don't think I realized an escape room could look and feel this amazing. The level of immersion and detail felt in this room was unbelievable - so much so that I was hardly focusing on the time and more so just enjoying all the great details. The puzzles all made an excellent flow through the different time periods, and it was very satisfying how each of the time periods hid in plain sight and then highlighted themselves when you got to them. My one friend and I played together and managed to get out just in time - but even if we didn't, this room was such an unforgettable experience. Out of 19 escape rooms I've played at the time of writing, this one is absolutely my favorite.
Escape Game Crocker Park has some of my favorite game masters! Mariah and Noah are both super helpful and personable.
Yes
Without a doubt. This room utilizes multiple screens and technology to further create the amazing immersion throughout the room. This is something I've only seen used by Escape Game and is best put to work in this room especially.
Medium
I wouldn't consider any escape room easy, and it did take all but 30 seconds for my party of two to escape. That being said, all of the puzzles are reasonably doable with a bit of creative thinking and are all lots of fun as well.

4
This is my magic number for pretty much every escape room. I think more than 4 is pushing too much, but 2-3 can be tricky depending on the group.
Not scary
There is one prop that has an effect that may surprise players, but otherwise the room is not meant to be scary at all - and it's not.
12
This is the minimum age I give for pretty much every escape room without any special circumstances like scariness. Anything younger and it may be difficult for children to keep up. The environment isn't the problem here - it's just the art of the game to me.
No
Although they mentioned one minor issue that led to one thing being missing from a puzzle, it was not noticeable during the game and in no way made the experience any worse.

Somewhat
I don't think any room falls into the "not at all" category, but this room did not require anything special.
No crawling, steps up, or unique audio clues are present in the game. Outside of a standard necessity to see things at all heights and parts of the room and one puzzle that involves colors, this room shouldn't be inaccessible to almost anyone.

This is not at fault of the establishment - Crocker Park itself is a very busy district. Even then, there is a parking garage very close to the building and a seamless walk.

Puzzle Quality: 13/20 Looks/Theme: 12.5/15 GameMaster Rating: 8/10 Operation Fluidity: 5/5 Combined Rating: 38.5/50 Overall Difficulty: 5/10 Quick Notes: - Multiple rooms, small and medium in size - Great look and concept CATEGORIES EXPLAINED IN MORE DETAIL BELOW: Puzzle Quality - How intuitive, logical, and unique the puzzles were. How well do the puzzles fit the theme? Looks/Theme - How much effort, time, and money went into making an immersive and unique atmosphere. GameMaster Rating - How attentive and helpful was the game master? Were the hints given in a timely manner and were they quality hints that helped but did not give you the solution too directly? Operation Fluidity - Was the game reset properly? Was it clean inside the room? Were the code entry and solution methods working properly as intended? Overall Difficulty - This is fairly subjective but is mostly correlated to how many total puzzles and how time consuming they each are compared against the 60 minute time limit that almost all rooms have. Combined Rating - Simply a total tally out of 50 of the four main categories. (Puzzle Quality and Looks/Theme are weighted a little more because they are the most important parts of having a good experience). The higher the number, the better the room! Just remember that a 5/10 or 7.5/15 or a 25/50 combined rating is an AVERAGE rating (for some reason in most people’s heads, a 5/10 is a below average or bad rating). So if a room has a combined rating of above 25, then it is a quality room and a good experience that I would recommend! It has to be a really well done room to score above a 35.
