‘Vampire Crypt’ is an Indestroom-designed room, and is one of Red Lock’s best. A fun gothic experience that is balanced to keep it family-friendly (no scares within the room!). Puzzles flowed pretty well with only a few minor disruptions to the flow due to a lack of strong signposting and one puzzle’s leap of logic. Most of the puzzles were quite thematic and enjoyable, with a number of props channeling Van Helsing’s slew of weaponry.
It was probably my favourite Indestroom game to date. Thanks to the slew of Indestroom-filled escape room businesses on the Gold Coast, I’ve played quite a few!
Flow was pretty good, only one puzzle could have been signposted/initiated in a more visible way to connect
Cool props and theming, some care given to selecting props and puzzles that fit within the vampire hunter trope!
Particularly interesting or different
No
No strong storyline but theming was fun.
No padlocks or combination locks, all electronic!
Theming was spooky but there weren’t any scares.
