You can tell this is a first time builders room, theres definitely lots of a room for improvement but the base isn’t bad. The flow of the game didnt do well, and there wasn’t enough direction given for the next puzzle. It is a linear room, but linear game play doesn’t work well if it doesn’t flow, so there was a lot of time standing around scratching our heads, asking for help. A Gen 1 room, lots of locks, but that matched the theme of the room. Could have used more goonies theming rather than just the sounds, all around i think the room could have just been more, more immersive, more themed, more flow, more to the opening and ending, it has a lot of potential and maybe as they grow, the rooms will grow as well!

The story kind of gets lost in the confusing puzzles. Enthusiasts might get confused by the simplicity of the puzzles. There wasnt enough direction for the puzzles and how to solve them, what goes with what, etc. The room overall was fun, but we kept getting lost.
It was good for a first gen room, the design and props were pretty good. Again, i think the whole room just needed more.
The GM we had was so sweet, a little shy so he didn’t have that pep to set the tone of the room, but he was doing his best and we always appreciate a GM who is nice. Showed us around after the game, and gave us time to get a picture, which we also appreciate, we didnt feel like we were being rushed out.
Nothing life changing, but the goonies theme was what brought us in. It definitely could use some work to bring that nostalgia, and more theming from the actual movie, but the opening and the small sounds here and there though out the room brought it out a little. Hopefully they’ll grow this room some more, and keep adding to it!!
