A great room that allowed for fun characters to come alive within the manor you explore with your team. The puzzles were unique, and some of them fit particularly well once in the main room. I would’ve loved to see more of these puzzles based on characters, but everything was visually appealing and fun. Great narrator of the story with a fun goal and keepsake!

seemed to be one of 60s easier rooms but still had such a fun time. the room was pretty large and really felt like i was in an old home. unique puzzles to fit the theme.

A decent and mildly humorous game. Puzzles made sense and the set did a decent job creating an interesting environment. I enjoyed the little vignettes as we found out what happened to the family. As with a bunch of the other games at this location, the game was dimmer than I would have liked; the only time we got hung up was because we hadn't noticed a clue due to the darkness. One puzzle felt like it could have been clued better, and there were some spots in the set that might have used some touch up. This felt like the easiest of the games at 60 to Escape Gurnee.

One of the easier rooms at the Gurnee but still a fun one! The creepy theme is present but not dominating to the point it will actually scare- the creepiness comes from the convincing and suspenseful set design throughout the room. A fault of my own, but the room did break by pulling a book off a shelf during the rules video that was unable to be skipped. The other rooms allow you to interact with the room during the rules video especially if you had seen it before, but it is understandable how playing the game before time starts would sequence break the experience. A fault of my own. Overall very fun room with surprises around every corner! Everything you’d want and more in a haunted house theme room!
73 escape rooms
fun story line, lots of secrets and reveals and appropriately labeled for difficulty. Was able to complete this room with my usual partner and my mother who has only done a couple rooms prior with plenty of time to spare which made for an enjoyable stress free experience. The mechanics of some of the effects and areas were very novel and convincing. Also love when a room gives a little souvenir for completing it as a little keepsake.
Plenty of variety and clever mechanics and locks that felt satisfying to figure out and complete.
well decorated like all the other rooms from 60 to escape, a high point for any room in the area
gm was very nice and made sure to give each of us unique compliments about things we did during the room which is small but goes a long way to make us feel good for sure.

By far the easiest room of 60 to escape, but one of the best rooms there. Great atmosphere GREAT flow and I found myself confused way less than any other room.

Love this room! It's creepy but not scary, there's a few wow moments, lots of fun and unique puzzles that don't seem out of place and there's a nice mixture of humor. I've played this room 3 times now just because I keep wanting more of my friends and family to experience it.
Everything flows well and there's a great mixture of puzzles.
The atmosphere is fantastic! You really feel like you're in an old abandoned haunted mansion.
Great staff and attentive GM's.

There's nothing overly active but somebody will have to crawl shortly at one point (I imagine there's probably a work around for that if need be)

Good solid room. Amazing theming and set detail. On the easier side so good for beginners. The tech was fun and lots of different types of puzzles.
