Orient Express

Loved the set here, was really well constructed and decorated to feel like a train. This room is tough because the physical space isn’t great for more than 4-ish players. There are small rooms you investigate and the room is linear so really only 2-3 can be actively engaged in a puzzle at any given time. The catch-22 is that some of the puzzles are difficult and kind of need lots of eyes so a small group might still find this quite difficult. I did enjoy the puzzles, there were some creative ones here! There was however 1 near the end that felt too hard, especially given the space constraints. So don’t be afraid to use hints on this one.

There was a lot of like and dislike about the room. I absolutely love this set design. The puzzles however, some of them were confusing. We had a team of 8 so there was a lot of critical thinking done. A few of the puzzles did not make sense at all.

Absolutely my favorite room at this place. This theme offers a larger environmental setting and higher immersion. My favorite scene is the dining room, where you can almost imagine the characters from the story sitting there. This room has a variety of non-repetitive puzzles that require some thinking, with a few being quite challenging. Besides a few locks, the rest are mechanisms. There is a bit of deduction involved, and as you unlock the escape room, the truth is also revealed.

Set design was amazing so I’m giving it a positive review. Certain puzzles were near impossible to solve. A lot of guessing went into this room. 8 people is too many for this room
