The Guest House

Flowed well. Good puzzle flow. Not too much linearity, so separate groups could work on different clues or puzzles in parallel, which is nice.

The theme was fun. Tech was great, but not too much. Good decor. We had trouble with the lantern: I think that could be better. A couple worn decoupaged items that should probably be updated.

Our GM, Nicole, was friendly, helpful, & overall a great host!

The room was a good mix of tech and mechanical, but not one of the highest tech rooms we've done--which is totally fine.

The room contains a wide variety of clues. It flowed very well. We stumbled onto a couple of clues but there was nothing confusing, nor too easy. A very enjoyable room.

The room was fully immersive -- we were in a guest house. The props and set fully supported the theme. There was nothing confusing. Another excellent Escape Code experience.

The Escape Code staff is always welcoming, professional, supportive, and attentive. We didn't require any clues, but our game master was on top of when we we escaped.

The room is relatively basic, but still a lot of fun.

The story was consistent with the room and the objectives were clear. We were able to solve the riddle and escape as explained to us at the start. Every clue supported the guest house theme.

Despite escaping with almost 21 minutes remaining there were still a good number of puzzles to solve. The puzzles were innovative, but straightforward. Because it was mostly linear, the room might be a good start for a beginner.

The game was mostly mechanical, but they always incorporate some tech into their rooms. A good balance.

We escaped with two players and zero clues but two extra nuggets would have helped.
