Nothing really crazy technologically, but still makes for a good time. I like the amount of puzzles and difficulty level. There were a lot of easy to medium-difficulty puzzles, which allowed for a lot of energy and general good vibes and joking around. Nothing is worse than a puzzle so complicated it sucks the life out of your friends. I loved our GM (host). Her humor was super dry, and although we didn't ask for any hints, she gave a couple of really good and subtle nudges. Was NOT a fan of one puzzle in particular fairly early on which causes me to miss out on a good handful of other puzzles my group were working on.
We split up into groups, and I and one other person attempted one puzzle that sucked a lot of time and, frankly, our attention away from other, more exciting things happening around us. After this was solved, it didn't really amount to much that was compatible with the effort we just put in. Everything else was sufficiently fun and fast-paced once we got over this hurdle.

Our GM was AMAZING, very surprising, very funny, and just a bit awkward and we loved it so much. This was a very fun room, it’s almost like a game within a game.

Everything in this room to the atmosphere, the puzzles, and the live actor, was pretty average. The thumbs up rating fits very well. I like the theme and the idea of this room, but its execution was meh at best. Some of the gameshow puzzles were cool, but once we finished it felt like we had just solved a bunch of random puzzles you’d find in a puzzle workbook. There was definitely one puzzle that took a while to do that wasn’t even fun. However there was one very fun puzzle and one or two puzzles with clever solutions. This is the first room I’ve ever done with a live actor, and after much thought, I realized I’m pretty much indifferent of it. Yeah it was kind of weird at first, and he has the cheesy lines he probably says every single time, but considering the alternative would’ve been walkie-talkies to a person in another room, I feel like it was all right.

I thought the game was fine to good. I had fun, if I had to do it over again, I would. But it wasn’t mind blowing. The ratings are “overwhelmingly positive” and I’m not sure why. It was well thought through and a good room. But really nothing stand out about it to me. Is this the best room in Chicago?
It was novel in that I’ve never played a game with this theme before
Set design was thoughtful, not a big wow factor, props were old and tattered in some ways, but functional
Game master Shaough was enthusiastic. But the jokes were self deprecating
It was just okay. Felt like the room was overly hyped. Good not great. Worth playing but not mind blowing

We finished with 15 minutes to go. We broke one puzzle by finishing it before we should have, which made a big portion of the game confusing

It’s big enough to warrant a larger group but small enough that too large a group means spectating

You play this room for the nostalgia factor if you like game shows, or spent your sick days from school watching them. It is not very tech driven, but that's ok. There is a lot to do. None of it is particularly difficult. There is a live actor in the room with you, but that is largely unnecessary. It is even a bit awkward.
The game show theme is novel.

Did this game as a duo and we had a blast. Very unique experience. Definitely not a tech heavy room at all. Lots of puzzles in the style of various game shows!

Have you ever wanted to be on a game show? This is probably the best best thing! Lots of references to classic game shows, great set design, and plenty of puzzles to keep a large group busy. The gamemaster is in the room with you to act as the game show host, but unlike some live actor experiences that make things awkward, this was a welcome addition to the room. Shout out to Brandon being an amazing host and nerding out about escape rooms afterward!

This was a fun room and theme. My first time soloing a room. Brandon was a great GM and with his gentle nudges, I was able to escape with a few minutes left. As others have said, the room is low tech but has lots of fun and unique puzzles.

Easily my favorite room that I’ve done at this location, a unique premise/theme that I enjoyed greatly. The puzzles were spot on and I think I did the room the whole time with a smile on my face because it was so fun! Wasn’t particularly the most high tech room, but it was great! I loved it a lot.
