The Toymaker's Workshop

The theme was so unique that I remember a lot of it even after five years (which is when I’m writing this review)! It had a lot of puzzles that I’ve yet to see repeated, even after so many tech advances and changes in the industry. The props and interior design were well done! The only issue was a physical challenge that was frustrating and put us behind, but maybe some folks liked it. Despite it being lower tech, I actually liked this one much better than some of the fancy and expensive ones I’ve done lately. This early escape room showed us that simple (low tech) can be amazing! Sad to see it’s closed now, but glad I got to do it. It was affordable too, at only $30/person. If it came back, I’d definitely recommend it to folks!

Nothing about the room felt “Toymaker-y” at all. It’s like they didn’t even make an effort to have a theme.
