Treasure of the Seven Keys

Great set, but we felt the solutions to some puzzles weren’t very concrete (decoder pointed between two letters, throwing everything off). Faded symbols made it hard to read. But we liked the concept and of course the game master was great!

This was a pretty generic and unremarkable room compared to others we've done. The room was not set up properly, which was frustrating but even if it had been, this probably would rate in the bottom 10% of rooms we've done. Gamemaster allowed us to play Area 52 as a make-up, and much to our surprise, that room was excellent, with some very difficult and unique puzzles. If you're up to a challenge do that one instead.

So not much to this game, find a bunch of keys…open the locks that go to those keys. Only a handful of actual puzzles are in the game. We got out with roughly 20 minutes remaining on the clock. Normally I would feel pretty good about that, but in this case it just felt like too little content.

Several parts of the game were very worn down and hard to read. One puzzle was broken and left in an unsolved state, with the connected item "unlocked" leading us to think we had missed something for quite some time. Could use some repairs/ TLC, but had several fun puzzles and was a fairly cute set overall.
