You and your friends set out to go camping one weekend in a very remote area. Your path is blocked by a fallen tree, and the night is approaching fast. The local ranger station tells you that there is a cabin where you could spend the night. When you arrive, the door is wide open and the lights are on. Suddenly you hear strange howls and growls in the woods behind you, so you rush into the cabin and slam the door behind you. Can you solve the mysteries you find inside before the mythical creature is able to reach you?

Another incredibly immersive game by Escape the Netherworld. Amazing set design, creative puzzles, some surprise moments, great story line, and some puzzles that require actions that feel escape game defying. Recommend to all (even the chickens, like me!)

This was a fantastic game and probably in my pantheon of favorite games. The story telling is fantastic. The gameplay is fun. The rooms at Escape the Netherworld are very old school with excellent bells and whistles. The game itself was so fun it overshadowed some of the "one note" nature of the room. Lots to like in this room. This was a story heavy room. It should be a Morty favorite.

It was four of us and it was a blast. By far one of my top 10. Very nicely themed. I was highly impressed with the design. The scares were so fun. Just enough scare to make you feel like a complete idiot and laugh at it later 🤣. It was a lot of fun. And challenging! This wasn’t a walk in the park but incredible thought out. The game master helped us make sense of it when we may have gotten stuck. Take people that you can communicate and work well with. A lot of puzzles that can be worked on at different times.

Even some of the best escape rooms suffer from a final-moment let down. You want something epic to happen when you solve that last puzzle/escape in time, which often doesn't occur. I’m happy to say that Escape the Netherworld has solved that problem where the final thing that you do leads to something BIG and this occurs in ALL of their rooms. Sasquatch was great. If you will indulge me for a second, I can tell you why. Right after we got married, my wife and I went to DC and did a "Friday the 13th" room which took place in a cabin and you solved puzzles so you could escape Jason, the hockey mask-wearing killer. The game was a big disappointment because Jason never shows up! (Just jump scares where a doorknob rattles!) Flash forward to one year later, and to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we went to Atlanta and did this game, which was such a stark contrast. While also taking place in a cabin, (without too much spoilers), let's just say that the main character absolutely shows up throughout the game! Throw in solid puzzling, a nice flow and a few EEK! moments plus that rock solid ending & by now you know, you should be doing this game. Of the rooms we did, this was my favorite. Come for this one, but honestly, you should stay and knock out all of them.

Sasquatch: Bigfoot's Revenge is a captivating escape room experience that immerses players in a thrilling narrative from start to finish with an evolving story. The puzzles are cleverly integrated into the mountain cabin setting, adding to the overall authenticity. Even though there were more locks than we like, they made sense as part of the story. The game master played a character that fit within the narrative as well. He was great about giving us hints when we were stuck or off track. As the name suggests, the Sasquatch theme is a prominent element throughout the game. Frequent jump scares, coupled with the narrative, create a suspenseful atmosphere. The room's conclusion is both satisfying and memorable, leaving no doubt that players have successfully completed their quest - which was more than just to escape. Netherworld's expertise in haunted house attractions is evident in the high-quality effects and production design. Anyone else trying to make a Sasquatch room will have big shoes to fill.

Most of the puzzles were on theme, but a couple were difficult to solve and would benefit from being replaced (as some others have mentioned).

The room is recommended for four people or experienced players. The two of us (with close to 30 rooms each under our belts) solved it comfortably within time with some nudges from the GM, and a hint to bypass one of the puzzles.

We were heading back from Nashville and decided to play a couple games in Atlanta saw the branding and logos for each of the rooms and this place looked pretty legit. Very glad that we stopped by to play Sasquatch as this is one of my top two games for “scares“ and jump scares. The game flowed really well and there was only one thing we got stuck on which we happen to already have so I wouldn’t even count that. Kept me on my toes and when I wasn’t on my toes I was on the ground hiding from Sasquatch 🤣 Our game master was awesome and very attentive the entire time. They asked us how we wanted clues or nudges at the beginning of the game and how we wanted our play style to be with the clues and the nudges. They were us customize our game as far as not obvious clues

Gameplay

Everything flowed amazingly!

Atmosphere

Definitely was not a “scary“ room but it totally strikes a nerve if you’re a little spooky around Sasquatch! Top two out of over 70 games for jump scares!

Overall we had an extremely fun time. GM was fun, rooms were immersive. These rooms get a ton of play and some props/clues need replacing (and should be done so regularly). I wouldn’t classify this as scary overall but there are a couple of jump scares.

Gameplay

Some things didn’t quite make sense. Some clue props needed replacing. One clue was missing and had to be brought to us by the GM. It was a back up that used to be in the room and was nearly unusable. Other puzzles had lovable pieces that, if moved, would make it impossible to complete the puzzle without help. Things like that should be immoveable.

Atmosphere

Very immersive. Very well done.

Customer service

Our GM was perhaps a bit over eager to give helpful nudges. Not that we don’t appreciate nudges when stuck, but sometimes he would interject when we were talking something out and we couldn’t hear ourselves or an audio track that was a part of the game.
