2 escape rooms

While it's marketed as 2-8, we went through it as 2 as semi-experienced players and it was doable. We got a few hints. You can tell they put a lot of effort into some parts but not others. They have electronics and nice special effects and set dressing, but quite a few bits seemed messy and unpolished. The puzzles needed more thought. Our biggest challenges were often reading them instead of figuring them out.

The GM was nice but he seemed very much checked out.

25 escape rooms

Completed in 1hr with just 2 people. Wouldn't recommend more than 3 people. We only took as long as we did because there were some tech and prop issues with the room. The game master says of all their games, this would rank 5/10-6/10 in difficulty. The room was not bad, but the entire experience wasn't as fun or challenging as other rooms I've done. The puzzles weren't that challenging and felt more like guess-and-check, fitting-things-together kind of puzzles. There was no logic involved. Most of the challenge came from not being able to see clearly in the dark. There also seemed to be no storyline. Didn't feel like I learned anything about the house or spirits. I escaped confused and not feeling satisfied because I felt like the story wasn't complete / there was no story. It was a bit boring and anti-climatic. Story aside, the room had some issues. There was something that was supposed to have a light, but it did not, and because it was dark, we didn't see it at all and would not have seen it if the game master hadn't told us exactly where it was. There was one thing that opened up when it wasn't supposed to. When that happened the game master came in and told us that wasn't supposed to happen. The game master came in another time to check that we entered the next room. Her coming in did ruin the immersion. Wouldn't recommend. I think there are better escape rooms more worth it for the price. It may have been better if there weren't any tech or prop issues, but there not being a clear story was disappointing.

Pretty random puzzles that didn't teach us anything about the house / progress the story

Puzzles weren't logically challenging. It was just hard because we couldn't see in the dark clearly.
