The Lone Cabin

Ohhh it’s a spooky one, the Lone Cabin is dishing out some spooks. With this one Entombed are kind enough to give you the option on just how scary you’d like to make the experience, with the scariest (our choice) involving a live actor. A very nice inclusion. This honestly put us even more on edge with the knowledge that someone could pop out at any stage but we still had a great time navigating ourselves through the satanic cabin of terrors and trauma. The puzzles are integrated nicely into the environment and do their best to tell a story which I’m always a big fan of. The set was probably the weakest of all 5 rooms in the venue which is surprising given it’s the newest experience they have, but they do make up for in the immersion category. An eerie and satisfying nightmare but not the strongest of the line up. Charlotte was a humble and terrifying GM/evil murderer!

Another theme I have had some experience with, the spooky cabin in the forest. This one I find can be extremely hit or miss but luckily this one felt like a hit. The puzzles were tricky but not impossible and the scares were at a good level that we didn’t feel too afraid to continue trying to solve the room, a nice balancing act. The room itself was very well crafted with the front entrance really feeling like you’re walking into a cabin. For me the storyline in this one fell a little flat. We found ourselves a bit confused with what was going on with cults and hauntings, it could use some refining. Quite a good room for a spook fan.
