Your group finds itself trapped in a spooky cabin, about to meet your fate with a coven of witches and an ancient spell! Can you escape before they arrive? Legend tells of a coven within Seattle that gathers every decade to perform a spell and extend their mortality. They lure helpless travelers deep within the woods, as sacrifices for their black magic. You and your group of friends happen to be lost in the woods, just in time for this supposed ritual...but that's just a legend, right?

Cute room with great cottage witch vibes. Room was a little warm but atmosphere was excellent. Puzzles were logical and room flowed very well. Game master was great

There was a paid lot near by but street parking was pretty full. May want to come early to find a parking spot or plan to pay

Sure Lock does it again! We celebrated our 30th room together by heading over to their newest location in West Seattle. We had already done nearly all the other rooms in their Renton and Kent locations and this one did not disappoint. Great ambience from the moment you enter the lobby. Impeccable customer service, unique puzzles, fun surprises and enough to do for all three of us at once. Just so nice to find a local company with such high standards. We know if it’s a sure lock room, it’s gonna be good.

First room I ever did. Made me fall in love with escape rooms. Average one a month since more or less.

A solid game. Some of the tech elements were a bit crusty, but everything worked. Some elements really required thinking out of the box, which I appreciated (especially after playing their other room directly before). Game Master Ava was outstanding (and was running two rooms simultaneously like the absolute superstar she is). Such a fan of the people here. They care so much about the games, Escape Rooms in general, and making an exceptional experience for everyone who comes through their doors.
I’ll say it a million times, the staff here is the best.

We enjoyed this one - everything flowed well, puzzles were logical, and it had a good mix of mental puzzle-solving, mechanical puzzles, and some props with neat effects. Only a few locks. The two of us needed just a few nudges but were able to keep a good momentum throughout and finished with about three seconds to spare. They could take this room up a small notch by freshening up some worn props and adding some atmospheric sound effects/music, but I’d give it a solid A.

A lighted prop did not work, but it did not affect gameplay.

Room was fun and experience was very immersive from start to finish. Puzzles were fun, but one puzzle had a minor “glitch” I suppose that we spent over 10 minutes on. We still really enjoyed it regardless

We completed Spell Struck with 5 people- we asked for around 10 clues and were able to beat the game with seconds left! The puzzles were quite innovative and the atmosphere was quite mysterious, much like a group of travelers trapped in a cabin in the woods sort of scenario. I would say it relies a bit more on reading and assembling various pieces into one than other escape rooms I’ve been to. My team had a blast.

This is an average room. Finished in ~40min with 4 players. Game is medium difficulty, heavier on the reading/comprehending side (reading instructions / guessing word riddles, etc). Might be easier for native English speakers as there are some vocabs. Theme is set in cabin/witch/potion, etc. there were more than one puzzle that included completely unnecessary information that mislead players to comprehend puzzles incorrectly. This is a big no for me, in my mind all information should be relevant to the puzzle. When we figured out how to solve it was pretty frustrating. Room design is ok but not novel, most puzzles are ordinary ones you see in a typical escape room.

Spell struck was very fun, the theme of all the puzzles really fit the story of the escape room and there was a nice variety of puzzles to solve. My main con was that a lot of puzzles unlocked things you needed for the next puzzle and so it ended up being somewhat linear with limited opportunity for parallel puzzle solving. 4 was a great number of people for this. We did accidentally skip some steps as well.

I loved the atmosphere, the interactions and the GM. By far one of my favorite escape rooms I’ve done. Also loved yelling WITCH!!!!!
Spooky
