Spell Struck

When booking this room, I thought to myself - I’ve seen so many witch-type rooms. How could this one be different? For us, it was our game master, Ava. She made this game go from ordinary to extraordinary. Her being in character made me remember the puzzles more even though we didn’t really need any hints! The puzzles themselves were in-theme and they all made sense. Everything was accounted for! My hubby and I did it with just the two of us and there were moments when we had to divide and conquer so non-linear flow is the way to go. The set design wasn’t as impressive when you walk in, but have patience and you will rewarded :)

Witchy vibes, cozy cabin with lots of in-theme puzzles. Clearly a lot of thought, creativity, and effort went in to creating a beautiful set with integrated puzzles and no red herrings. Great for all experience levels and ages. Our GM, Erin was welcoming, committed to the character, and responsive when needed. We loved this room!

The game was a blast. With only two players and a couple of significant hints we still only escaped with seconds to spare. So many fun interactive magical moments with impressive tech and puzzles I've never seen before. There were definitely moments with multiple parallel puzzles to work on that would have been good for groups but we enjoyed the challenge with two people. Our puzzle guide Erin was phenomenal, she let us go on one puzzle we were very close on but gave us very welcome nudges at other moments when we would have been stuck and frustrated otherwise.

Such a cute and fun room. Unique puzzles, with a nice mix of physical and "brainy" types. Good story with really adorable details and cozy fairytale forest vibes. Doable with 2 people.

Loved everything about this experience-fun puzzles, great ambience and a great game host who managed to interject with just the right amount of hints when we needed them. We did the puzzle as a group of 2 adults and 1 9-year old. One of the things that I really enjoyed about this is that there were enough puzzles for all of us to be working on things independently, but not so many that we couldn't get through them. The setup was fantastic, it really did feel like we were in an old cabin.

Sure Lock does it again! We celebrated our 30th room together by heading over to their newest location in West Seattle. We had already done nearly all the other rooms in their Renton and Kent locations and this one did not disappoint. Great ambience from the moment you enter the lobby. Impeccable customer service, unique puzzles, fun surprises and enough to do for all three of us at once. Just so nice to find a local company with such high standards. We know if it’s a sure lock room, it’s gonna be good.

First room I ever did. Made me fall in love with escape rooms. Average one a month since more or less.

A solid game. Some of the tech elements were a bit crusty, but everything worked. Some elements really required thinking out of the box, which I appreciated (especially after playing their other room directly before). Game Master Ava was outstanding (and was running two rooms simultaneously like the absolute superstar she is). Such a fan of the people here. They care so much about the games, Escape Rooms in general, and making an exceptional experience for everyone who comes through their doors.

Room was fun and experience was very immersive from start to finish. Puzzles were fun, but one puzzle had a minor “glitch” I suppose that we spent over 10 minutes on. We still really enjoyed it regardless
