The Heist

This was my second to last room in the rankings of rooms escape game offers. It is marked as hard, I didn’t think it was very challenging. The set was not reset properly making it annoying at times. The idea of the room was cool but experience wasn’t the best. I’d give it a 6.5/10

We added The Heist on a whim and have played everything Dedham offers. The Escape Game Dedham treated us very well. Grateful for our GM who pushed us along here and there when we got a little stuck. We kept our Search Fails to a minimum this time which always helps.

Really enjoyed this one! My favorite at this location. Perfect for two people and the puzzles kept us engaged from beginning to end. Definitely recommend

Another great game from this company. Our momentum really ebb and flowed but it was a really fun room.

This room was well designed. A few of the puzzles were more challenging than others. My boyfriend and I signed up and ended up being joined by a group of 6 additional individuals. This room is not big enough for a group of 8. We were all stepping on each others toes, talking over each other, and multiple people were left to just sit down and not get involved because there were wayyy too many cooks in the kitchen. There should be an option for booking a full room for a group, even if it comes with an increased cost.

We had 4 family members today and got paired up with 2 younger detectives and their parent. Turned out to be a great experience, there was enough in the room so that everyone felt like they contributed to the escape. The puzzles were challenging at times in different ways, but working together was the key for our group on this day. Would recommend!

Overall a fun room, and the staff were very kind to us. We ran into frustration with some puzzles that really didn’t work well (worn down/lighting made it nearly impossible to see) and we’re disappointed that our GM didn’t help more in navigating those challenges (had to ask for about 5 hints on an unreadably dim puzzle with us climbing all over to try and see the lettering). If those few puzzles were fixed a bit, or even just more GM support on them would have made the room feel a lot smoother. The other pieces were interesting and fun, and the set design was quite cool!

Very fun game. Great immersion for a chain. Puzzles were pretty straightforward
