Orphanage

This was our first time at Quest Room and we certainly will be back! The staff were amazing and were entertaining from the door opening to closing it behind us. The room design and decoration was incredible, they’ve clearly put a lot of time and effort into it and it shows! It’s a multi room design and flows nicely.

They really nailed the aesthetic in this room! From the moment you enter, the set design, sound effects and props work together to create a seriously creepy experience- they managed to get a few screams from even the ‘toughest’ of the group. 😁 I highly recommend this room for those who appreciate high-tech effects and creepy escape room themes. This is one of the best rooms I’ve ever done!

Awesome experience! Room is very cool. Didnt find it as scary as expected but definitely could be to those who are young or scare easily.

Orphanage was such a fun room filled with suspense and always keeping us on our toes. There were no jump scares for this room so even though it was a horror themed room, it was manageable. Our game master was also awesome at giving us clues without giving too much away. Highly recommended

Incredibly immersive and challenging! Mainly tech room with very impressive reaction speed and no technical difficulties, which can be rare with tech rooms and helped to create a seamless immersive experience.

Played this room with one other member. Room was well laid out and had a good flow. Some attention to detail is required in this room.

Probably one of the best rooms we’ve done in Brisbane! The theming was spot on and the clues were well thought out! Can’t wait to continue working through the other rooms they have to offer!

Orphanage was a winning combination of visually stunning aesthetics and intelligent and creative puzzles. As someone who doesn’t tolerate scary/spooky escape rooms (and will jump merely at the sound of a drawer opening), I was pleased to discover that it was palatable even for the faint hearted! I’m so glad I was encouraged to give it a go. Our group went to celebrate my partner’s birthday and our GM (Lex) made the experience so much more memorable with his charismatic demeanour. Highly recommend!!!

‘Orphanage’ delivers all of the gorgeous sets anyone familiar with Quest has come to expect, with additional advancements in feedback and a focus on cinematic moments that deepen the immersive delight that Quest continually deliver. The puzzles were fun, and there were moments between puzzles and feedback that really helped ‘Orphanage’ stand out as one of the best escape rooms in Brisbane. Without giving anything away, the space feels… alive. It’s not just a room waiting for you to interact with its props — ‘Orphanage’ plays back. The narrative slowly unfurls as you creep through the abandoned orphanage, and while there are creepy moments, this game is accessible for those who don’t typically enjoy horror games. It’s a creepy aesthetic, not a live actor slamming on walls and chasing you around. It’s a wonderfully delivery of tasteful spooky charm. I cannot recommend ‘Orphanage’ or any of Quest Room’s experiences enough. We look forward to seeing what comes next!
