Getting up to ‘no good’ as usual, your curious collective decide to take a visit to the old abandoned orphanage because it seemed like a good idea at the time. Variations of the tales told through the years formed your belief that this ‘local legend’ was designed purely to deter visitors. A Director who one day simply stopped visiting town, dreams of townsfolk invaded, the sounds of children at play in the woods…hogwash! You expect nothing more than a dark, dilapidated dwelling and make your entrance together only to discover that once inside… It’s not so dark…you feel compelled to stay…and play…

Probably one of the best rooms we’ve done in Brisbane! The theming was spot on and the clues were well thought out! Can’t wait to continue working through the other rooms they have to offer!

Amazing gameplay, great clues without being too easy, lots of behind the scenes mechanics made it exciting! Also LOVED the lack of your basic lock and key/directional locks, every lock made sense with the room and was well put together

Orphanage was a winning combination of visually stunning aesthetics and intelligent and creative puzzles. As someone who doesn’t tolerate scary/spooky escape rooms (and will jump merely at the sound of a drawer opening), I was pleased to discover that it was palatable even for the faint hearted! I’m so glad I was encouraged to give it a go. Our group went to celebrate my partner’s birthday and our GM (Lex) made the experience so much more memorable with his charismatic demeanour. Highly recommend!!!

‘Orphanage’ delivers all of the gorgeous sets anyone familiar with Quest has come to expect, with additional advancements in feedback and a focus on cinematic moments that deepen the immersive delight that Quest continually deliver. The puzzles were fun, and there were moments between puzzles and feedback that really helped ‘Orphanage’ stand out as one of the best escape rooms in Brisbane. Without giving anything away, the space feels… alive. It’s not just a room waiting for you to interact with its props — ‘Orphanage’ plays back. The narrative slowly unfurls as you creep through the abandoned orphanage, and while there are creepy moments, this game is accessible for those who don’t typically enjoy horror games. It’s a creepy aesthetic, not a live actor slamming on walls and chasing you around. It’s a wonderfully delivery of tasteful spooky charm. I cannot recommend ‘Orphanage’ or any of Quest Room’s experiences enough. We look forward to seeing what comes next!

Orphanage was a very difficult game with some fabulous unique puzzles (and locks!). It has beautifully creepy theatrical moments and is a must do for experienced escapists. We felt extremely welcomed and most generously taken care of by our game master Lex, they truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. Great care and love has clearly been put into this business. We will definitely be back to check out their other experiences. This place is truly a gem.

One of our favourite rooms ever! The decor is awesome, the ambiance and “scare” are amazing and the puzzles and rooms are so unique! We highly recommend The Orphanage! 🤍 Lex was our Game Master, and as always, he’s the best 🙌🏼

This was my first time at Quest Room. We did Orphanage which was one of the hardest rooms. It was definitely spooky and the puzzles were difficult. Definitely will come back again to try the other rooms.
