Terrible experience. The majority of the props were broken so we wasted a lot of time trying to figure out if we were doing it right or not. We ended up calling for hints several times only to find out that the puzzle was broken. Staff seemed to be aware of the malfunctions but they still continue to operate this room and charge customers full price. One of the worst rooms I’ve ever done.
The room was broken in so many areas. It was not fun at all. We kept questioning whether we were doing something right or not and had to constantly call for hints. It turned out that every time we called it was because something was not working properly. It felt like a big waste of time. We actually got the puzzles right but never got any clue that it worked or not. It was just broken. One room had music playing with an audio clue and then it suddenly stopped and it was silent so we couldn’t hear it anymore. Again, it was just another broken prop. There also was a door that was unlocked when it shouldn’t have been so we wasted our time in there as well. There was another area that was unlocked and we proceeded to go through and the game master walkie talkied us to tell us not to go yet. In the end we never officially ‘unlocked’ that area because the whole puzzle stopped working. Nothing made sense in this room and it was even more frustrating when most things were broken too. Even the last puzzle to leave the room was broken. They had to manually activate it for us so we could get out. And it made absolutely no sense too.
It had potential but in the end it seemed like the broke the Truth of Osaka High room apart and refurbished it into two ‘new’ subpar rooms.
They were welcoming when we arrived. They double charged us. It was good I double checked my booking because I already paid before I got there but they charged us on arrival as well. They eventually managed to refund it at the end but it was strange how they said they didn’t know how to do it at first. When we got out of the room we expressed our dissatisfaction with how most of the props and puzzles were broken and the front desk person said they knew. If they knew this then why did they continue to let people play and pay full price for a broken room. We asked to speak with the manager and turned out that it was the manager we were speaking to and he just didn’t seem to care at all.
Lighting was low and some areas were quite dark
