The Relic

A very enjoyable room. I do not know when they switched it to a 60 minute room, from a 45 minute one, but I can understand some of the 45 minute complaints...60 was good for our group of two though. Excellent decor and props....lots of props...Will you use them? Yes, you will. Decent mapping of what goes with what. Perhaps a smidgen too much reading for one task, but luckily only for that one. There is a reoccurring attempt to halt your progress but after you have overcome it once it will get easier each time. One puzzle really stumped me, mostly because I am used to the escape room cardinal rules and one had to be broken to solve a puzzle. It was a fun and unique puzzle and I appreciate it for those reasons. Enjoyable room with puzzles that brought us solving satisfaction.

This was a challenging but Fun room. A lot to do considered it being a single room. Great theme. Super friendly host and game master.

I have very rarely disliked an escape room, but this one just was not fun for me. There are way too many props to keep track of, several of the puzzles are just tedious and unimaginative, and there are a few puzzles that are just difficult in an unenjoyable way. I love being challenged but it needs to feel meaningful. I only truly enjoyed maybe 1-2 of the puzzles in this room.

There’s a part in the game where it’s a little spooky but not scary. I keep wanting to think that there was a random key that didn’t go to anything. Maybe my memory is failing me or it was a distraction. Either way, still a good escape room!

This room definitely gave Indiana Jones vibes! I wish the room was larger as it would have been fun to experience more of it. Overall great puzzles and the room flowed well. Pay attention for small detailed as some can be easy to miss.

I liked this theme and the way they delivered clues was novel. They left remnants of puzzles they no longer use though, which was very confusing and takes away from game play.

Cohesive, diverse and interesting puzzles with a fun archaeological theme. Good for groups of 2-3, not more than that as the room is not big and there is not enough to do to occupy a large group. Probably the easiest of the rooms at this location but still worth doing! We got through the room quickly but the experience was still very satisfying.

Of the current 2 games at this location, this is the better one but still is a 60 minute game crammed into 45 minutes. Additionally they go hard on the sporadic moments in the game that seem to just be a time waster. This game has much more potential if the GM sets you up at the start, otherwise there’s a lot of ambiguity and searching for the puzzles and pieces you need before you even get started. If you like deciphering and manually triggered tech this could be your jam. Lastly there are bonus puzzles which are generally unachievable with the current game flow. Lot of a potential but unfortunately seems half thought through. Your typical escape group will be rocked. 🙏🏽Please make this game better by making it 60 minutes and giving the group the “tools” needed at the start of the game rather than searching aimlessly. Have the GM focus them in. This could be a solid adventure.

Of their two open rooms, this one was more fun. There were still a few things that aren’t running as smooth since they just opened, but I liked this room overall. It had more challenging puzzles and not as many restrictions as survive.
