A fun room. Definitely a good room for beginners or a small team. Played with just me and my 11-year-old. Would have had an even faster time except we overlooked an object, but chose to spend time hunting rather along for the hint right away.
Good room for kids. The only thing that might be tough for younger kids was a couple of louder sound effects, but nothing crazy.
Particularly interesting or different
No
It was fun, but pretty typical fantasy genre. There was an event that didn't function (no spoilers) that would likely have added significantly to the woo hoo factor.
2 experienced players was plenty. Newer players would probably have fun with 3-5.
Just a couple of louder sound effects made my kiddo a little jumpy, but I think it was more the anticipation of something coming than the sounds themselves.
Without giving spoilers, there was one effect that didn't work at all. They had a work around and it didn't effect game play, but we could tell what was supposed to happen, and it was disappointing. There was a second puzzle that was "put the object here" that we had done exactly the same but nothing happened until we asked for a clue, then tried it again, doing the same thing, and it worked the second time around.
Physically active
Not at all
It's the mall, so parking isn't always "easy", but there is plenty available if you're willing to walk a bit.
