Fun (obviously witch themed) room. Our group and another group made up a 7 person team for the game. Puzzles were decently themed and varied. A lot of the puzzles are built to give you one small fraction of a larger puzzle with far fewer giving you a new reveal or noticeable progress on their own. Everything was well themed, though the final puzzle seemed like it should have belonged in a different room in the game, though likely placed do to space limitations. Never got a final time of completion (time isn't displayed and communication is over "radio" aka voice from god) then again the final puzzle completion is determined by a game master manual trigger not something directly triggered by the players action. So the final game time could be rather subjective (at least up to a minute or two could be dependent on the game masters opinion).
GM was great. Asked a head of time how often we wanted clues (we chose to directly ask for them). Game started late as another group in the game was running late which they were happy to accommodate which I think is wonderful. Though in addition to no communication to us waiting for the game to start, we were not given as much of a courtesy on the game we did earlier in the day.
Story was entertaining, and the theme of the room matched the story.
6-8 players I think is ideal, some of the rooms are small and a lot of moving from one room to another making it feel tight with more than 8 people.
It is meant to be spooky (it is witches after all) though it really wasn't all that spooky. More than fine for kids as far as scary goes.
Nothing really adult in the room other than some talk of missing/presumed dead people and a "human" bone or skeleton. Though they might have trouble reaching or seeing some of the clues.
Physically active
Not at all
Other than a lot of walking back and forth between all of the rooms and down a hallway it isn't bad.
Accessibility
Entire area is flat and fine for a wheelchair though some clues might be hard to see from a lower height. No audio clues to struggle to listen for. Some dark areas may be difficult for those wish vision problems.
Banner on the side of the building above the door though door itself is non-descript.
Boston parking is what it is. Several garages near by, but give yourself extra time to find one, deal with traffic and parking and then walk to the game.
