The flesh-eating virus. You and your research team were told there was a flesh-eating virus that was being made at a biotech lab that can be released airborne and can spread immediately. Once infected your body mutates and loses all control. You only have 51 minutes to get the virus and destroy it.

63 escape rooms

Nice little room with a bit more “tech”than what was previously in this space. Still mostly physical locks or mechanical puzzles, but did a great job of integrating other items into the puzzles. There was a little bit of a creepy factor with some of the props, but nothing too bad. There were a few red herrings, which I always hate, but nothing too egregious. We enjoyed it. Very linear and largely intuitive.

Gameplay

Standard dim lighting lab setting. A few physical locks and a few non lock puzzles. Mostly intuitive and linear.

Atmosphere

Dim lighting with a few jump scares via pneumatic devise. Nothing too bad.

Customer service

Great staff.

Particularly interesting or different

No

Standard Zombie ish experience. But that’s not a criticism or a bad thing necessarily.

Story

Nice little story element that splits up the team.

Ideal number of players

4

2 or 3 would not work well for how this experience works. Certainly large enough and complex enough for more, but 4 feels right.

Scary

Scary

A few jump scares including an animatronic and simulated corpse / zombie. Not very scary but also not benign.

Minimum age

13

Not much for the little ones to do. May be too “scary” for the younger folk.

Was anything broken?

No

Live actors

Yes

A brief encounter with an actor as part of the story. Not persistent in the room, just a pop in and then back out.

Physically active

Not at all

Accessibility

Dim lighting . A few important puzzles rely totally on color. Mobility issues should not be a problem.

Easy to find location

Yes

Parking

Easy
