Missing

Missing was a respectable gen 1 room that had some interesting ideas but was unfortunately a little disjointed. The lighting and set design was less than ideal, and while some puzzles stood out as winners, there was also a lot of filler that felt less enjoyable. I would recommend Missing to a local who had already played out most of Charlotte, but unfortunately there is not a lot here that separates it from the pack.

We had a great time! Sky was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. It was so fun interacting with her throughout the game. This is our first room here and we were ready to do a second room right after we finished the first. The atmosphere was thrilling and puzzles were non-linear so everyone got to participate in solving the puzzles. Don't get so caught up in the puzzles that you lose the storyline, it is a good back story as well.

Very good, multiple rooms, need to crawl. There's a bit of a murder mystery aspect that isn't necessary to solve, but is definitely a fun bonus if you do solve it. LOCKS UPON LOCKS!

Missing was our second room at masterpiece and we had a better feel for their flow so we got out fairly quick but it was still a fun room. I really liked the theme and atmosphere of this one, definitely creepy.

In thinking about this review, I've come to realize I'm partial to "Mystery Mansion" escape rooms. Maybe it's because they seem straight out of Scooby Doo? I don't think I've ever done one I disliked. That said, once again, Masterpiece Escapes still makes their rooms stand out. This was a fun game. The puzzles are more classic locks, but the set design was top notch and you don't start in the mansion, you start outside and need to get in. Once inside, things got even crazier. They certainly perfected the jump scares! A nice flow to the puzzles as well. Come for Wrecked, but stay for this one! (Although they honestly don't have any to avoid doing!)

Masterpiece escapes never fails. They are by far the best escape rooms around. The overall setting and execution of the theme and each puzzle is amazing. This room is spectacular. I can’t recommend this place enough.
