Nightmare in Pink

Rating: 4/5 - Play this for the super fun last room and the Christmas Story references Pros: ➕Set is pretty spacious with multiple rooms to discover and explore ➕The last room is the highlight, it put a smile on my face and was the most impressive version of this type of challenge I've seen so far. ➕Theme is based on a Halloween version of of the Christmas Story, so there are tons of references for fans of the movie. ➕Good variety of puzzles, everything made sense, nothing annoying ➕Use of audio/sound effects ➕Mix of padlocks and tech, probably more padlock heavy ➕Some dexterity challenges ➕Multiple flashlights and writing pads are provided ➕Owner and employees were all very friendly and helpful when needed, they were also great to chat with. Room for improvement: ➖Quality of set is fine for a mom and pop type place but not the most immersive or detailed when compared to most of the other rooms at this location. ➖Lock mapping could've been a bit better, there were often multiple locks of the same type. I'd recommend at team of 2-3 enthusiasts, we played it as a duo with plenty of time left and only a couple nudges. One puzzle does physically require 3 people, the GM will come in to help with only 2. The room is a bit spooky with a couple of minor startling noises. My ranking of the rooms I've played here starting with my favorite: 1. & 2. Cows in Space 1 & 2, I can't decide which one I like more 3. Nightmare in Pink 4. Curse of the Hidden Temple (made by Giant Dream Productions) 5. Candy Factory Challenge (made by Giant Dream Productions) 6. Wizard Academy

Escaped with 2 people with almost 20 minutes left on the clock and didn't need any clues. That's not to say this is an easy escape room, it will be challenging for most groups, it was just very well put together and made perfect sense for us (who have done 130+ rooms). There wasn't much we hadn't seen before, although one particular room was very unique and extremely fun. The cluing was clever. This is a spooky themed room but it was more like...fun Halloween than actually scary, no jump scares here. We've done most of their rooms and this one is the best so far! Had a great chat with the owners before and after, they are passionate about escape rooms and extremely friendly.

Not to scary, a great change from the theme of a Christmas story movie, I would absolutely love if the Christmas story room could be combined with this as one big room with a minimum of 4 people it would be great

The room was an absolute gem. It was the perfect balance of theme and puzzles, with a nonlinear approach that allowed for the whole team to work on different things and move the game forward. Puzzles were unique and diverse. Our game master was extraordinarily kind, funny, and overall enthusiastic and excited to be there. We will definitely coming back for more games!

We have done many escape rooms over the past 10 years and this room was very fun. Challenging with 2 people but we still escaped with 8 minutes left. Planning to come back to try out some of the other rooms!

The reviews are spot on. We have done over 50 rooms and this is one of the very best we have experienced. Challenging but not impossible. The flow is good, the atmosphere is great, and there were plenty of tasks to keep our experienced group of 5 busy. This room is not for beginners. They have a couple other rooms better suited for those with limited experience. I would suggest a minimum of 10 escapes rooms under your belt before doing this room. Team Escape is a wonderful facility overall and we would highly recommend all 5 of their hour+ game experiences.

I will say this is the number one best escape Room place we have ever been and we go all over and even to other states! This isn’t a corporate place, the owners are escape room lover’s themselves!! They created and built some of these room and hands down a once in a lifetime experience!
